Hi strutsagget! 1) thanks for the picture. You have a beautiful wood elves army. 2) I like your list. It seems balanced as far as I can see. 3) I 've never tried the sisters as bunker but i think they can work fine. We can discuss about their number maybe. Ok they have a great WS but under enemy fire you can for sure risk something. 4) ethernal guard is a cool unit. You need to support them with dancers and with magic for making them shining... Remember to deploy them in a wood which gives them poisoned attacks. 5) I love wardancers. With the old army book I played them always, but also now I try to find always a place for them. they are cool and they have interesting rules. 6) wild riders ...you know them ..you love them. 7) lore of shadow is one the best lore you could choose. Lore of Beast normally it's my pick in case I have treemen , treekins, dryads...and so on but I can see the point of your choise. Anyway, I would consider for the 2nd level wizard also lore of life , heaven or light.

Always room for tweaks/improvements though. All the none painted units are in my paint queue. Not sure of the numbers of sisters. Seen people run 8 and 2 weavers. Not sure in beast either but wyssan is always great but feels like a level 2 is needed.

Sill not do a battle report as the midnight whiskey session made my totally screw my second turn that resulted in my defeat on his turn 3. I do like the list, thinking about actually putting the bsb on steed instead of the captain and switch place on them. Lost the full mage bus to a ld test running off the table when the wild riders got wiped out. Did a-lot of newbie misstakes in deployment too. We forgot about the tower but then he remberd... Fun moment was when his kitty step into the river and it turn to a river of light hitting Alot of hits from banishment and about 8wounds

And that Leeds me to question the need of the lord and that dual captains might be better. So it’s leaves up to buff some wild riders too.

I like the second version. what about glade riders ?:-) Not super fond of the riders so far, as the ambush rule is crap, but it might be better with two units of riders instead of one unit of gg and two models of wild riders.

sure.if you play Glade riders you should always play at least 2 of them. I loved them in the previous book but I am still fond of the model and I try to find room for them in my army . They are not crucial but I was thinking you have a lot of cavarly and they can work in the "theme" of your army. They can be a diversion. Maybe they are able to take a War machine or play as chaff in the middle -late game. If you let them enter on a side of the board they can charge on the flank and support another troop in the fight.

Yes but with true flight and muscician they cost 120p you get 5 naked wild riders for 125p so have hard time to justify them.
Also the list have 7 chaffable units and 5 of them can go WM hunting plus sisters and wild riders if needed.

just a comparison 10 glade guards + musician +hagbane tips 160 points 7 glade riders + musician + trueflight arrows 164 points
ok their tactical rule is different but... if you give them trueflight arrows they won't have any modifiers on hitting and they start to be interesting... Some are suggesting to keep them cheap. Up to you.

It's just an harassment Unit which can add little more tactics but they are overpriced if you compare them to wild riders.
