I was looking at my Nurgle Allies today. They deserve their own page. This army began as "Demon Allies" to my (main) Tomb Kings campaign army about two years ago. It literally began as the 'Start Collecting' box of Nurgle Demons. Then I added a unit of Warriors w. Great Weapons. Then I found another box of Plague Bearers. Then I converted a Chimera. Then I converted a Demon Prince. Then I converted a Shaggoth. Then I went from 20 Warriors to 40. And so on...
Based on Papa Nurgles Lucky Number being 7, I am putting together the following: ~1). A unit of 49 (7 ranks, 7 files) Plague Bearers [Demons] ~2). A unit of 49 (7 ranks, 7 files) Chaos Warriors [Mortals] w. the Mark of Nurgle ~3). A unit of 49 (7 ranks, 7 files) Beastmen w. the Mark of Nurgle [Gor Herd] ~4). A unit of 49 (7 ranks, 7 files) Marauders, double dipping with the Mortals
Think that's enough ground and pound infantry?? An impressive battlefield sight. Each unit will actually be 50 so I could run them (reform!) in a 10x5 Horde if I need to. That's also a lot of CORE Points for a Chaos Unbound Army. i.e. "Legions of Chaos" End Times. By my count via ArmyBuilder, 2715 worth of core. That means when I start adding up what I've got... a Demon Prince, a Shaggoth, a Chimera, another Demon Prince, and a Nurgle Giant, etc. etc. I think might have 8,000ish points of Nurgle. They're no longer the SIDEKICK to my Tomb Kings. They're their own thing!

Nice! Sounds like the solution to your sidekick problem is more tombkings!

Nice! Sounds like the solution to your sidekick problem is more tombkings! Right? Even the best of us get sick of dry brushing bone, sometimes. Nurgle lets my glop a lot more funky colors on some minis! Gross greens and slimy pinks and all that.

The new Nurgle warband, "Beastgrave:Wurmspat". Love the minis. Hate the round bases. The round bases are "integral" meaning they each contain a foot or hoof, etc. Actual sculpted detials. So I couldn't quite just toss the bases. Instead I made a set of three 50x50mm adapters. The 38mm round base fits snugly in and each miniature works as a unit filler of QTY4 25x25mm infantry troops. Not ideal, but I like the finished product. And they look nice in a big infantry unit on the tabletop.

Plague Bearers 7x7 and then some 7 is of course Nurgle's Lucky Number. You'll see a lot of 7x7 grids herein.

Character on a Palanquin. I think you could put a Nurgle Mortal Sorcerer on this, or even a Herald (Demon). If a Herald, you could make him the BSB too. Lots of fun options...

A Fighty Lord of Nurgle on a dinosaur mutant chariot, of course. Armored scaly death!
