Following the Prophecy of Akna-Xoc, the Slann of Lustria have channelled mighty eldritch powers, not used for millennia. Mages all over the world, sensing the tremendous gathering of magical energy, bent all of their prowess to finding the cause: The lost Isle of Kroakatowa has been lifted from the ocean depths! Ancient legends tell of mighty relics of power, mystical monuments of sorcerous energy, and mysterious guardians.
The few scouts that have returned tell of a barrier of jagged rocks and crashing waves, all around the island. Attempts to make landfall have all met with disaster, boats capsizing under the turbulent water or splintering against the pitiless stone outcroppings. A dull red glow can be seen through a dense fog, but the island is eerily silent beyond the fitful rage of the ocean.
The leaders of your race have called for intrepid/courageous/murderous/opportunistic/belligerent generals, such as yourself, to lead an expedition to the island. Make landfall, plunder what relics and riches you find, and harness the power of the legendary monuments, all for the glory and greatness of your race.

Hello fellow Generals. I have finished the rules and details for a Virtual WFB Campaign. This will be a ladder/tree campaign, with two broad divisions of Order/Destruction. Each game will be a narrative scenario, leading to the end goal of control of the island. Players will create one list for the campaign, to represent an expedition with minimal support. However, characters and units will earn experience as the campaign proceeds, which can lead to impressive upgrades. This event is loosely based off other narrative campaigns published by GW, but will hopefully be different enough to keep it fresh and surprising, even for long-time veterans. This Campaign will last for 8 weeks, and will be played using the Universal Battles 2 interface at universalbattle2.com/
You DO NOT need a Pro membership to participate or play, however, it will make it much easier, and allow you to customize an Army for yourself. This Campaign is open to any interested players, in any part of the world. I have created a Discord server, to facilitate match-making and a repository for campaign rules and strategy. I am taking sign-ups until Midnight GMT, Friday, June 12th, and the campaign will begin at 12:00AM GMT, Monday, June 15th. If you are interested in participating, please message me with the following information:
