1502,999 pointsIt keeps the basic structure of your original list, though swoops Thorek for a regular anvil (as that at least allows you to add runes to them both as before you were restricted by the 25% points cap). Both are kept relatively cheap with just an armour boost (to give them a 2+/5++) and spell breaking/eating runes. Having two, although stupidly expensive, does actually give you a chance of getting off a spell you want. You are a ballsy man lol.
I shuffled core so you have 2 units of 10 quarrellers to remove chaff. The horde of quarrellers becomes a solid combat unit.
The ironbreakers get the compulsory stubborn rune.
Both Runesmiths are there for buffing each combat unit and with only a few attacks went with the standard 2+ save and dispel runes. They’ve each been given at least a flaming rune to help remove regen/ethereal and so give them a bit more versatility.
The General Thane is again the standard full defensive setup (1+/4++) with GW for the ironbreakers. Especially useful as he has to accept challenges.
The BSB has a similar 1+ but I went with an extra wound (I find it makes a big difference). He also has a GW and a pistol to give the unit a stand and shoot at the short range.
With your 2 automatic power dice, 4 channels and 4 spellbreakers/eaters, you should definitely cause your brother some issues (or have to laugh if he takes something like a full khorne army).
The bolt throwers have been kept bare bones and treat them like goblin ones.
An additional grudgethrower has then been added to the list. Remember to always use them for anti-battery work at first instance (to remove the enemy cannons/stone throwers etc, as they’ll mess you up).
I’m still not sure this will be that competitive but it should be fun
