Looks like Darnok has you all covered on the badly glued beastmen. Good luck sorting that out. If you ask me, plastic glue is the devil and should be verboten. Regarding dark reds, back in the old days, before every shade of every color was just a buy-it-now click away, what people would do is mix their own colors (I know, crazy, right?!?). All your acrylics will go together quite nicely. so you can darken your red by adding in some dark brown, or even simple black. I wouldn't mix it with agrax or other washes, don't think that will do much. so much more pigment in the flat color. of course the challenge is to then mix up the same shade a week later which is why buy-it-now is rather convenient. Especially if you are doing this for multiple colors on the same unit that you took a break from painting....4 years ago.

I may well write them off, and sell them on ebay. On a day off I may perhaps take pictures of some of them and put up on here, some can be rescued methinks Hmm, I briefly recall mixing paints as a child back in school, such simple methods have clearly eluded my recall as I advance in years. Cheers, naitsabes! I may stick to buy-it-now to stay on the consistent side!

Nice work!
Bullgrox looks great and the unit of gor look staunch so far.
Another one takes seat in front of the herdstone...

well, but they do have the angry fist in the air to make up for it Great work, markdienekes! Glad you persevered and figured out imgur. Larger than life pictures are unforgiving. You did a fine job though and the units look great as well. Keep it coming. I see more stuff lurking off to the side in the shades. The lurkers are as follows: I have a giant, ghorgon, 4 chariots, 10 centigor, 10 harpies, 3 chaos spawn, several lords and heroes, three minos (I have another six well painted ones I purchased on ebay... I will have to rebase to match my paintings), 27 decent bestigor, about another 40 gors armed with shields or additional hand weapon, also 25 ungor with spears and shields, 2 razorgor, 10 ungor raiders... this may taken a while!

Thanks, feel like I can actually maybe paint this army now Two units down, another dozen or so to go! I have started on the chaos hounds, 'finishing' one, who I think does look better, and almost done two more (basing on one, highlights on another). I actually quite like these plastic hounds. The ones leaping look especially good!

Keep going, you can do it! The units you have posted look great, and there’s no feeling in the world like fielding a full, nicely painted, army!

I've only played against my brother in all mini games (Frostgrave is a beauty), and they usually always have lots of unpainted figures. He is busy painting his Empire army too. He is soon moving to Italy in the new year to live with his Italian partner and start a family there, so we want to play a fully painted game (or a few) before that happens as I imagine our games will be few and far between when he goes (though we have played quite a few games over lockdown using zoom and cameras as the collection of minis and games is largely in my house due to having a games room, albeit a dark but boarded attic, despite a few problems with him not being there they actually went pretty smoothly). Then it will be waiting for my six year old daughter to get bigger to learn the game, haha. I doubt I could convince the missus to play, but I won't ever stop trying.

I really like the unit. The hint of green works well.

Nice work man! The unit looks very good. I especially like the way you painted the rusty effect on the weapon.
And don't worry about little flaws showing on such inflated pictures, only a pro's work would be perfect from so close up!
