Nice work man! The unit looks very good. I especially like the way you painted the rusty effect on the weapon. And don't worry about little flaws showing on such inflated pictures, only a pro's work would be perfect from so close up! Cheers! Yeah, you're right about the flaws, I am just pleased they came out much better than I expected!

Right, Chaos hounds are finished! Raagh!!! I picked up a chariot to paint next, then promptly returned it, not ready... Onto the Ungor skirmishers next!

It may be ridiculous, but I feel like I need to wear some horns as I paint these.

Just make sure you wear the guy-liner as well. Critical.

Can’t believe I somehow missed this entire thread. Stunning unit. Love the old classic plastics too. Looking forward to seeing this progress!

I am working on Ungor skirmishers next. Not sure how I will take to the details on smaller models just yet as I only just base coated the skin on one, but they are actually lovely models and time will tell!

First 5 ungor raiders unit ready! (well, still waiting on a skirmisher bases...) I really love the attitude these guys show! Absolutely. The Ungor models are expresive with their posing and heads. The light green wrist straps are cool. Nice sneaky unit. Every Beastmen army needs at least 1 unit of raiders

Just a small update! Here's the gang so far (will finish one more tonight, then the last two hopefully over the next few days ). I feel like I am improving a little, though still much to work on! Someone has suggested instead of base painting from a black undercoat, that I should dry brush a white coat on top, to help blend the colours better. I shall try this soon. Against a background of cats drawn by the little one.
