Another month's goals.
This time, I'm going to trim back my volume of projected models I'm going to try to get painted.
16 Silver Helms 3 Kroxigor Random models
The year is quickly coming to a close. What do you want to get accomplished?

This month I pledge to definitely maybe or atleast possibly finish my Nurgle Giant. I'm also currently building a unit of count-as-Trolls Spawns which I'm hoping to atleast have completed building this month.

Kaltheras and I have committed to each painting up a secret army for a surprise match post-pandemic. Started on that in earnest but, since he prowls this forum, I can't say no more.
I will also work on a unit of black knights in the open though. And hope to finish off a building. There will be paint!

Going to try and get some cold one knights painted up to add to the 5 I already have done. That'll take me above 2000 points painted (without upgrades), im 50 pts shy atm.
IF I get the cold ones done I think I'll do a bolt thrower.

October lets get it!
Looking forwards to some great hobby time.
I've got a few things on the go at the moment that aren't far from completion so I'm doubling my usual output and pledging 2 fully painted miniatures ready for battle.

Great work gorfung and GMW! Off to an excellent start this month!
Yeah, I usually use grey with a white overlay, but since I really wanted these High Elves to be "gleaming" white, I used Morghast Bone and then overlayed it with Wraithbone.

Wow! You guys are not messing around. Hot out of the gate! I like it. I did a tester for the black knights. Happy with it. For the rest of the unit I want to get a bit more adventurous with faded heraldry on the caparison. We'll see how that goes.

Nice, Naitsabes. How did you do his armor?

thanks, mottdon.
the shield is just wyrdwood contrast over silver. The rest of the armor is silver base, nuln oil wash, then some deathclaw brown for the rust, uneven and to taste. lastly agrax, also uneven, only in some spots. I think the unevenness is key to making the rust 'believable'.

This month will be similar to the last for me. Chaos Dwarf banners and as much Nurgle as I can manage
