The Gor herd led by the Wargor charge into the Squig Hoppers and actually lose combat, are routed, and are run down by squigs…the squigs are tougher than they look. 😊

The Trolls charge into a unit of Ungor Raiders and lose combat, flee, and are run down…the Trolls are apparently wimpier than they look. 😉

It ended up being a solid victory for the Night Goblins but the Beastmen put up a good fight. It was great fun and I forgot how much I missed playing Warhammer. We are getting another game in soon and will move up to a 2000 point game for the next one, now that we have a better handle on the rules.

Nice little battle report, thank you so much for taking the time to write it! Maybe go up to 1000 or 1500 points in the next step, instead of right to 2000 though? Smaller games have an appeal of their own. Also - and please don't take this the wrong way - the Beastmen army could easily look much better with just some sand on their base and some primer on the models. Army Painter does primers in a variety of colours, I have had good experiences with them. Here "Leather Brown" or "Fur Brown" could work wonders.
Either way I'm already looking forard to the next batrep from you!

We actually did play a 1500 point game right after the 750 point one, but I just haven't written a report for it. Also, since it was almost a month ago, I don't really remember the specifics of that one. I know my friend plans on painting the Beastmen, he had just pulled them out of his basement and cleaned them off. Many of the miniatures were victims of an unfortunate basement flooding incident, so were covered in mud. I am glad you liked the short batrep. I will take some pics from our next game and try to do a write up for that as well.

Oh, that sounds horrible, great he could save some of them! Even though Beastmen like their mud, as far as I know their background...
