The cloak was FAQ’ed to say it didn’t effect units just models in B2B contact. My question is, do models making supporting attacks count as being in base to base contact? (If directly behind the model touching the character wearing the cloak)?
I guess it would be something similar for the VC nightshroud too.

The Krox/skink unit entry does talk about anyone in b2b being able to attack so it might be what I’m thinking of

Models making a supporting attack are not in btb. Since they are not in btb, and the White Cloak rules do not specifically state otherwise, supporting attakcs can be executed as normal.
BRB p. 48: "Normally, a warrior can only strike blows against an enemy model in base contact. The most common exception is if he is making a supporting attack."
