Love the stretch Treeman - a unique model and great variety of colours on him. I have completed my 23 Black Guard, taking me up to 43 models finished this month. I've just started on my 10 Mengil Manhide's Manflayers... so maybe I'll reach 53 if I push myself. More photos in my Elves plog. The banner is again excellent. Really crisp detail.

Wow a high standard of submissions this month, well done everyone. Lovely Elves of both flavour, Treeman, Disc and even a few rats. I got my first bit of Nurgle-y ness finished, it will be my Tamurkhan stand-in model.

What are you using for the mid-tone on the horns there? The bit of orange tinge, most visible on the big horn on the right.

when I grew up there was no 'tapatalk'. also, our asses were just tougher back then.
but yes, simon, unless you use tapatalk, you have to host your picture somewhere. For example Imgur. when you write your post include a link using that handy icon near the top.

I do my horns pretty much the same way just reversed depending if I want dark at the top or bottom. It's probably the XV-88 which is the orangey tone. They are just kind of streaked up the horn starting Ushabti Bone - XV88 - Mournfang Brown - Rhinox Hide - Rhinox/Black mix. If I was going light at the top I would use a white/Ushabti final bit.
