It's time for another Tomb Kings post and today we're discussing chariots. How do you field them? How many? Do you add a Tomb Prince for the MWBD? Do you add Settra?
Personally, I only have 3 models as of right now, so I use them on one of the flanks and have begun experimenting with adding a Tomb Prince, as I always felt they were underwhelming in actual games.
How do you use chariots?

I will be playing some Tomb Kings chariots this weekend - My GO TO is 4 wide x 2 deep, a unit of 8. It works as medium sized hammer. --It will break a lot of things the turn it charges... but not everything --If it doesn't break the turn it goes in, your odds go down substantially
It likely WILL NOT bust open the following: Hammerers (Dwarf), Warriors of Chaos (heavily armored).

I like that, and I'm even thinking to do 7 chariots + a prince on chariot. I need more chariots!

I put my Prince in my unit, usually in the second rank so he can make way as required. I take 8 with full command so 3x3 with any luck that’s S6 on the charge. With a banner of swiftness and 2x 5 horse archers that’s my 625pts.
In larger games I have included a smaller unit as well but 3 deep is really my limit as they are restricted by the deployment zone and of course they become unwieldy

Then the points value put me off them... How have you found using the 3x3 block? Mostly successful? 50/50?
