Hey mates,
Very nice forum out there. I've been lurking quite a lot these pats few weeks (lockdown is very conducive to hobbying, hehehe).
Recently I've been facing my Skavens against my brother's OnG (neither of us has the actual models, but we do have the army books, so we use pretty much any infantry model we have to field these armies "as if").
I got a question about the latest Skaven V7 errata V1.7, from April 2013. It states "Page 36 – Expendable. Delete the last two sentences." This means that from now on, I can shoot at an ennemy unit engaged against my Slaves, and all of my shooting will hit the ennemy. No need to randomize who gets hit anymore. Two questions.
1) Have I gotten that right?
2) If yes, do people actually play with this particular errata, both in casual games and in competitive play? For the former, it seems highly unthematic for the Skaven army. For the latter, it seems a straight-up buff to an army that didn't need any in the first place.
Opinions?
Cheers

1) Yes 2) They do. 3) Skaven slaves are for their points one of the best/overpowered units in the game.

Well then, I guess that's it. thanks for the quick answer. The strange thing is that the poisoned wind globes do not get to ignore randomization of friendly fire...oh well. I guess I'll discuss that with my brother before play (maybe "I don't get to ignore randomization, but you don't get to bring 6 night goblin shamans with their damned mushrooms").
Has there been an outrage related to that particular point in the errata, or any specific reaction of the various player bases?

Every army has something broken, some more then others. When playing friendly games make adjustment for fun as needed(if you win every game give your opponent an extra 100p till he wins) and don’t worry about “fair” and balance too much.
