As there's quite a significant following for Mierce Miniatures on this thread: eefl.freeforums.net/thread/1201/mierce-miniatures-new-releases, I was wondering if anyone here actually plays their fantasy Dark Ages wargame, Darklands? The factions look cool (especially the Brythonaid, British Celts for the win ), and the rules are suitably complex and tactical (in fact the unit profiles look so complicated they make Warhammer Fantasy look like Draughts), and I'm interested in giving the game a go (though using cheaper miniatures where possible - Mierce's stuff makes Forge World look almost cheap). Is anyone else interested and/or already playing?

I can’t say I know anyone who’s played it. I love their models but I can’t say I have an interest in trying out the game. Too invested in other games with not enough time to try much more out unfortunately.

Despite being a huge fan of Mierce I've never actually played Darklands.
Looking on their forums it seems it hasn't really taken off.

I've briefly looked over demo games at Salute, but like other Mierce fans I used the models for WFB only - I don't have the time / inclination to pick up another game (and persuade someone else to collect what would be a very expensive army).
