Hey, I think these kind of lists are pretty "standard" but does this look OK? First time looking at Woodies, theme is obvious. Bsb is on stag to keep theme, and included in the list to stop autoloss in blood and glory games. Considered dropping the dryads down to 18 and having a small unit of 10 to mess about with? Thoughts? Should I run the 6 wide? Or 5 wide? ++ Standard (Wood Elves - Army Book (2014-5) -V8.8.0.) The list looks great in my eyes. Cool theme and a hard army.
I agree with creating a 3rd unit of dryads and I would deploy the Dryads 6-wide to maximize attacks, more attacks with them are more important than the ranks. So for the two big units of 18, deploy them in 3 ranks of 6. 2 units of 18, plus a unit of 10 gives you more options and more deployments.
Treekin are extremely tough, they make a great anchor unit for the center of your battle line.
Branchwraith can't be a BSB? If not, I like the Great Stag idea. I'd have him join the Treekin.
Do you have pix of the army?

Ah great yeah that's where my mind was going... More drops and a handy little redirecting/annoying unit that can still chuck out some attacks!
No, unfortunately they can't take the bsb! I'm going to keep theme though through modelling.. The 'stag' will be one of the old style metal treekin, wirh something appropriated riding it!
No pics yet, first start collecting box is en route though!

Hi!
Trees are awesome!
So the list will probably swing a lot. Against armies with cannons it’s going to be tough. Against no WM 3 treeman will go to town. Remember tree whack is awesome against a lot of other monsters. You will take a lot of ld tests with this army so be skillful with your stag bsb position. Even if they are immune to psychology they will loose combat. That goes for both treekins and dryads. You will need that re roll and rally.
Spontaneous I would run dryads in small units of 10-12 x 5/6 wide only room for a branch wraith. Combo charges is they key here to maximize front row attacks. Also they double up as chaff when small and cheap. Maybe units with BWs can be a bit larger, here I don’t know as my games with them are few. So not sure how much punch they pack in reality 4 s4 ws6 is good on paper 2w 6++ save not so good. I have seen 30+ units of dryads been run down too many times loosing first battle big against random dorks where S3 is just not good enough. I will say though that most of my opponents run T4 armies. So they might be better then I think.
My personal favorite size of treekins is 8 and 4 wide. Not sure what to cut to fit it though. I would love to se 2 units of 5 or more sword dancers as “care takers”. I think they might help with turning battle with removing rank bonuses.
