Hi all, Been hectic recently so haven't had much time for hobbies, but I have managed to paint up a tester for the Nurgle warriors: Not as bright as the Tzeentchian lot, but other than painting them radioactive green (now there's a thought!)I think the dark greens and browns go well. As for Khorne, well, I can't wait to get started on these bad boys:
Have another two riders to build, basically knights from the old hunchback days, regular warrior torsos with the metal legs. Fit nicely. Brutal and effective.
A Slaaneshi warrior tester would be next... not sure on this tbh. Blue, purple and gold? Orange, purple and silver?

While Slaaneshis would look fabulous in most bright colours, I wouldn't suggest going with the blue, as they'll look too much like your Tzeentchians. Purple has always worked well for Slaanesh, or pink if you want to be really garish.

Agreed, purple is ideal. So here is what I was thinking: Slaanesh: Khorne: All four themes:
Maybe a bit too classic for Khorne and Slaanesh?
I also miscounted, I have around 120 hunchies left to convert and build (rather than 80). This is going to be a long running blog I think!

I love the work you're doing with those hunchbacks. I use quite a number of them in my own chaos army. Old as they are, I still think they look the part when you put the heads on top of their bodies, like, ya know, heads. Top notch work and I'm excited to see more.

Thanks . Yeah, once the head is in the right place they look good. They have more charm than any of the newer warriors imo although ranking them up is a right nuissance. Hunchies for Notre Dame!!!

It has been ages, but I found the time to make some progress.
First 1500 pts are completed:
6 Tzeentch Chaos Knights 20 Tzeentch Warriors w/ shield + hw 18 Tzeentch Warriors w/ halberd
5 Hounds Tzeentch Exhalted Hero Sorcerer of Slaanesh
Next up, to get to 2500 pts:
2 Chariots of Slaanesh
12 Forsaken of Slaanesh
Daemon Prince of Slaanesh

Beautiful! you really made the most out of the hunchies. So, are they numbered and only rank up in exactly one configuration?

Beautiful! you really made the most out of the hunchies. So, are they numbered and only rank up in exactly one configuration? Haha, done this before have you? Yeah, numbered under the bases. Have to rank them up while assembling them too, one by one, to make sure. No other way.
Although they are not the worst. The old 6th edition metal squig and squig herders were just a major headache. Had to get creative. I'll post a pic later to show what I mean.
