This campaign journal will contain spoilers for both Warhammer Fantasy 8th Edition Blood in the Badlands, and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Doomstones campaign (adapted for WFRP 4E). I had the tremendous luck of being able to offer a corner of my actual home as a wargame hub to my friends in the city, and all seven of them agreed to join me on a Blood in the Badlands campaign. At the same time, my mondays Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay group was about to create a party with new characters, and I offered to adapt the Doomstones campaign to fit the narrative of Fozzrik's Flying Fastness arriving in the Badlands. The events in both the wargame and rpg campaign will influence each other, since the merry party of adventurers also wants to claim the fortress for themselves. The party was hired to escort the heir of one of the Border Princes back home from the Reikland, and they have already reached the point where the Black Mountains meet the Grey Mountains. As for the wargaming part, the initial map looks like this:

Very cool premise. Wish I had a group like that, as it sounds like a blast.
