Dont get me wrong now, I like fluffy models with fun combat abilities, so I am asking out of interest, but isnt this model rather weak? 4 S5 W3 attacks and 3 S3 W2 attacks with 6+ AS and regeneration. If upgraded you get: 4 S5 W3 attacks and 1 S3 W2 attack + potentially W1 for the enemy and multiple wounds (D3+1) with 6 AS and regeneration. Is it good against monsters or infantry? Its got Swiftstrider but also Stupidity (and only 6LD). I find the rules great and appropiate but just wanted to your opinion (you = EEFL ) --------It depends, I suppose. I did have the monster at S6, the howdah with a 4+ armour save, and Trollsnatcha with Heroic Killing blow. Several argue these things were too much. Ultimately I'm trying to make rules that are accepted by my opponents (as they are unofficial). I'm happy with what the rules looks like. I'd say point cost probably need to be reconsidered. I'm not sure that he's actually worth 200 points. Hoping to playtest him at some point. Anyone know when this model is suppose to come out??

Regarding points - as a Beastmen player with Ghorgons and Jabberslythes at 275 pts, 200 pts seems like the dream of dreams Thanks for taking the time to make these rules - I have a OG army and will consider using this per the rules here!

I like the rules a lot.
I was just wondering about the swiftstride? Is there something in the lore about it being particularly quick.

I pre-ordered this model on Saturday, so looking forward to painting it up and seeing what base size works with it.

I've bought and assembled the Goblins War Sloggoth. It's an excellent model and much smaller than I thought - which is great! It reminds me of the monsters from older WFB editions, I like this a lot - every monster does not have to be huge.
I've revised the rules in red in the original post. Most important: the model is on a chariot base. Movement is reduced to 6" and I removed Swiftstride. I felt he should move the same as an ordinary Troll. I also removed Large Target.
The War Drums now effect nearby Goblin units (rather than enemy units) and the Troll-snatcha has the standard Killing Blow (rather than D3+1 Multiple Wounds).
I think the rules are really there now. Def want to do some playtesting. Let me know what you think...
