Using Kevin's EE rules for the new Sigmarines I will be painting up a new army if these angels of Sigmar. Here's the test mini...works for me.  Now the first unit assembled. The bases are 3d printed.  |

 built this dude but I'm not happy with how he faces on the base. I can't get him to look forward without rotating the whole model. |

Last night I realized that the big khorne warrior dudes in the box set will make nice Khorne Skullreapers...the guys from End times that go on 40mm.

Awesome as usual. Did you consider any other color for the edges of bases? I think the dark green you use for your empire might work well here.

I used to hear this from my friends, since i always leave them black as well. Wasn't expecting to see that elsewhere. I think brown would be my next choice for the edges, though probably it depends on how they look from above ------- They are great jface! I think blue really complements these models |

I am moving towards black for my base rims. My chaos army is appropriately black rimmed while my empire force is green. I plan to use these guys as more of a stand-alone force rather than adding them to my empire army. Even though these are "good guys", I feel like the black helps me with the limited palette that I'm trying to achieve. The empire army is red and white...part of the reason for those green rims is to complement the strong red of the figures themselves. It's all color theory.  |

No issues ranking these dudes upon 40mm sq bases?
They look nice, and with an appropriate amount of space between models and arms.
I would like to see a unit champion with a hammer other than regular "Steel" metal color.
Maybe a pale light icy blue? NMM? The hammers are cool and get lost in all that grey metal.
