What if you tried to make the hammer head look as though it's glowing? That or their "halos". Holy fire from Sigmar? Could also be a good opportunity for some object source lighting.

I think the old GW blue-metallic paint would be good here.

Does GW no longer do fancy sparkly metallic paints?

Not since the 1990s.

I did a 50/50 mix for my Knights Panther of Leadbelcher and Royal Blue (I think it's still called that?) and it turned out rather well. Also works with Abbaboon Black and Leadbelcher.

6 more Liberators including a unit standard: Relictor(BSB): I omitted some of the scrolls that hang from his back and I replaced the hideous head with a horn-shaved warrior helmet. The force so far:

Very nice! Good idea to replace that skullhead. Now it looks much better!

Great call on the skull head! And dost mine eyes deceive me? Is that Pine Bark? I love it! What size base are you going to use on your character on demi-dragon?

Not pine bark but an actual stone, though I was thinking of you when I reached for it. I will be using the monstrous cav base for the drac.

Real stone? Wow! I bet that's heavy! Good anchor tho... But you see how closely painted pine bark can resemble real stone?

Check out this guy's work. I know him rather well and we used to play all the time, but when ET hit, he stopped playing Fantasy and started 40K until he could see what GW was going to do. He's started painting these new AoS figures and is doing rather well with them. He's also done a LOT of work for Lord Tremendous (YouTube BatRep'r - he even made the video start-up for himself and LT). I quite like them! youtu.be/UaY11MvuAo0youtu.be/AUZtehD0KxE

Rick, just for reference, the mournfang, though listed as monstrous cav, are on chariot bases for the fit. Your hero might look better on one as well.

Yeah I think he'll fit on a 75. The thing that bugs me is that he has to look sideways. @don, I actually do not like either of those color schemes.

Does the rider look the same direction as the mount. Try to get his eyes forward
