Rich - I was at Boldo's today and found a nice pack of metal "Bretonnian" archers. 20 of 'em. Picked 'em up for you. They have that classic "5th Edition" look, despite being non-GW. Also, random Anaris sighting. He was about to play a EEFL game versus THE RATS. I couldn't hang, but looked like fun!

Yeah, I demolished him...i did not take any photos. Even though crazy moments. Sorry for off topic, but I just wanted to make mention. Still a great game, but he got disappointed when he absolutely had no way to take care of my frost phoenix

Thanks! What brand are they? Revenge Miniatures. Looks like late 80's or early 90s Citadel stuff.

Still a great game, but he got disappointed when he absolutely had no way to take care of my frost phoenix LOL I had a game this week with my rats against a Daemons of Chaos list. His list wasn't even that hard but I came to a similar realization that my list lacks sufficient ways to deal with high numbers (I was up against 4 of them) of multiple wound monsters. I'll post a quick batrep in the batrep section about my list and my thoughts on it.

I joined the Bret bus a little later in 6th edition so really prefer the newer minatures but I like what you've done there. My army is themed rather than have individual knights colours for what I consider to be the lords men. I have however recently decided to rebase all my knights and rank them up properly, to that end they are now back in the "things waiting to be done" pile again but I think the Grail knights will have individual colour schemes when I'm done.

PURE FLUFF (strictly Old World as we knew it): Just a question of theoretical debate - --Q1: Who has a realm of better carpenters? The Empire or Bretonnia? --Q2: Who has a realm of better stone masons? The Empire or Bretonnia? Feel free to explain your answer.

I have never read the actual Bret army book so don't know a ton about their fluff. But my take would be empire has better carpenters and Bretonnia better masons. I feel like there are so many lords in Bretonnia and they all have castles that I imagine being made of stone.
