In the spirit of impossible to fulfill New Year's Resolutions, I'm trying for a "Hobby 365", a year of doing something every day for a year. I'm setting my goal at a minimum of 20 minutes a day. My hope is having a thread here will help keep me motivated and honest. Here's my first days effort, final basecoating touchups and a wash on 20 skeletons with spears to bulk an existing unit up to 40: Edit: 2023 thread here: eefl.freeforums.net/thread/3194/hobby-365-2023

That's a great idea and excellent start! This should be a good motivation for you. 👍🏻

Tall order. No sick days either? You are off to a good start with those skeletons. Good luck!

Well I've got Covid currently and I'm thankfully well enough to keep going, so hopefully I can battle through any future sick days as well. I think work and kids are going to be bigger obstacles, but I'm going to aim high!

Tonight I drybrushed "rust" onto the metal bits. I still feel like I'm in the phase where the differences aren't that noticeable, but progress is progress! Before: After:

Looking really good man - the browns and dank metals go really well with your skellie colour choice!
