Just wondering if anybody had something already for these spectral undead?
They have a pretty cool model range based on spirit hosts and hexwraiths.

I'm currently working on a list for them called Warhammer: Spirits of the Dead, but it's still in the pipeline. When it's finished I'll be sure to tag you Excellent, especially looking forwards to what you do with the special characters like the Lady and Reikenor the Grim hailor Currently my list has no special characters included so far, as I was reluctant to directly port the AoS characters directly into Fantasy, but perhaps given they're spirits, one could make the excuse that they first became ghosts in the Old World, and survived the End Times to reach their current position in Nagash's service in AoS?

Excellent, especially looking forwards to what you do with the special characters like the Lady and Reikenor the Grim hailor Currently my list has no special characters included so far, as I was reluctant to directly port the AoS characters directly into Fantasy, but perhaps given they're spirits, one could make the excuse that they first became ghosts in the Old World, and survived the End Times to reach their current position in Nagash's service in AoS? I ignore all the AOS stuff as written for Warhammer Fantasy but draw inspiration from it. For the Spirit special characters I think it's pretty easy to adopt their lore as them being from various Warhammer Fantasy human kingdoms areas as so many haven't been fleshed outbut basically leaving it the same but ignoring all the actual AOS stuff. This would be harder if they were living AOS characters. Ie, Craven King is still a Craven SOB but from the Old World when Nagash resurrected and cursed him. He can still be bound to Olynder, speak in whispers and hate being number 2. Olynder could still be a Mortarch but from the Old World when she was alive. I see her lore as potentially somewhat like Krell's where Nagash stumbles across the tomb of this ancient and powerful queen (imo even from before Nagash's time) and her spirit is so powerful etc etc. I mean Settra was waay older than Nagash for example and even before him there were human kingdoms. I see them as part of Nagash's End Times forces when he comes back. Looking forwards to seeing what you come up with.

Just wondering if anybody had something already for these spectral undead? They have a pretty cool model range based on spirit hosts and hexwraiths. I take it from BattleScribe (Warhammer army project v30 data). It's for 9th ed, but I guess we may use it (maybe with some corrections). Rather oddly, I didn't find it in pdf-versions from Mathias' site (perhaps someone else designed it?) Kurdoss 210pts Rules: Ethereal, Hover, If I cannot Rule, None Shall Rule!, Suffer No Rival, Terror, Undead. (If I cannot Rule, None Shall Rule!: At the start of each of your turns, roll a D6; on a 5+, the enemy General cannot make use of their Inspiring Presence ability until the start of your next turn. Suffer No Rival: Kurdoss may re-roll failed rolls To Hit in close combat against the enemy Army General). Magic weapon: Sepulchral Sceptre. Great weapon. All attacks made with the Sepulchral Sceptre have Multiple Wounds (D3). However, for each natural To Wound roll of 6, that attack has Multiple Wounds (D6) instead. 2 ×Wraith heralds Rules: Chill grasp. Hand weapon. M5 WS5 BS0 S4 T4 W3 I3 A4 Ld9 WS3 S3 I3 A3 (heralds) Lady Olynder 400pts Rules: Ethereal, Hover, Mortarch of Grief, No Rest For the Wicked, Terror, The Generals of Undeath, Undead. (Mortarch of Grief: All enemy models within 6" of Lady Olynder must re-roll successful Psychology tests. No Rest For the Wicked: When casting the Invocating of Nehek spell on a unit with Ethereal, Lady Olynder may restore D3 lost Wounds rather than 1). Lv3 wizard. (Vampires lore I guess + this Spell): Grief-stricken. Hex. Cast value 8+. Range 18". Until the start of the caster's next turn, the target unit suffer -1 To Hit in close combat, and models targeting them in close combat gain +1 To Hit. Staff of Midnight. Magic weapon. The Staff of Midnight gives Lady Olynder Killing Blow. Lifting the Veil. Magic weapon. Range 12" S4. Ignores Armour saves. Killing Blow. Multiple Shots (6). When rolling To Wound, substitute the target's T with its I value. This attack does not suffer any To Hit penalties. Each model slain by this attack allows Lady Olynder to regain 1 Wound previously lost during the game, up to her starting value. Grave-sands of Time. Talisman. One use only. The Grave-sands can be used at the start of any close combat phase to target one enemy model in base contact. The target model suffers D3 Wounds which Ignores Armour saves. Alternatively, Lady Olynder can use the Gravesands to heal D3 Wounds previously lost during the game, up to her starting value. 2×Banshee handmaiden Rules: Ghostly howl. M5 WS4 BS4 S4 T4 W3 I4 A2 Ld8 WS3 S3 I3 A1 (banshee)

I was working on a new army list for this a while back, but didn't finish it.
Here is Lady Olynder, not completely finished:
LADY OLYNDER, MORTARCH OF GRIEF
Lady Olynder M:6 WS:5 BS:3 S:4 T:4 W:5 I:6 A:3 LD:9 Handmaidens M:- WS:3 BS:- S:3 T:- W:- I:3 A:2 LD: -
Points: XXX Base Size: 50x50 mm
Troop Type: Monstrous Infantry (Special Character)
Equipment: The Hourglass of Eternal Horror, Staff of Midnight.
MAGIC: Lady Olynder is a Level 3 Wizard who knows all the spells from the Lore of the White Lady.
Special Rules: Undead, Uncanny Terror, Ethereal, Hover.
Uncanny Terror (this is an army-wide special rule) Units with the Uncanny Terror special rule have the Terror special rule. In addition, whenever an enemy unit makes Terror test or Fear test caused by a unit with the Uncanny Terror special rule, they suffer a -1 penalty to their Leadership.
Mortarch of Grief: If Lady Olynder is included in a Barrow Haunt army, she must be the army General regardless of the Leadership value of any other character.
Aura of Despair: All enemy units within 12” of Lady Olynder suffer a -1 penalty to their Leadership.
Wail of Inevitable Doom: Lady Olynder is accompanied by a pair of Banshee Handmaidens whose’ shrieks are amplified by the potency of the Mortarch of Grief’s intense aura of anguish. Lady Olynder has the Ghostly Howl special rule (see page 31 of Warhammer: Vampire Counts). However, instead of resolving the attack by rolling 2D6+2, the attack is resolved by rolling 2D6+4!
Face of Arcane Horror: When Lady Olynder is fighting in a challenge, she lifts her white veil, revealing the true horror of her abhorrent appearance, a sight of which mortal men cannot withstand.
A model fighting against Lady Olynder in a challenge gains the Always Strikes Last special rule and suffers a -1 penalty of all of their rolls ‘To Hit’ and ‘To Wound.’
MAGIC ITEMS
Staff of Midnight: Arcane Item. Each time Lady Olynder attempts to cast a spell, the Staff of Midnight adds a +D3 to the final dice result. Additionally, the Staff of Midnight provides Lady Olynder with the Magic Resistance (3) special rule.
Hourglass of Eternal Horror: Enchanted Item. One use only. Lady Olynder may shatter the Hourglass of Eternal Horror at the end of any Barrow Haunt Magic Phase. When this happens, all players remove any dice from their power/dispel pools and the Magic phase is resent. Roll a new Winds of Magic and proceed with a second Magic phase this turn. However, only Lady Olynder may cast spells during this second Magic phase. Once the second Magic phase ends, proceed to the Shooting phase as normal.
LORE OF THE WHITE LADY
Soul Steal (Lore Attribute) Each time a Wizard casts a successful spell from the Lore of the White Lady, roll a D6 on behalf of the caster. On the result of a 6+, one enemy unit within 12” of the caster suffers 1 Wound with no armour saves allowed and the caster regains 1 Wound lost previously in the battle. However if the Wound caused upon the enemy unit is saved or if no enemy unit is within 12” of the caster, than the caster does not regain the lost Wound.
NIGHTHAUNT Cast on 10+ Remains in play. Nighthaunt is an augment spell that targets any friendly unit with the Undead special rule within 12” of the caster, including the caster herself. Until the start of your next Magic phase, the unit gains the Terror special rule. If the target unit already has the Terror special rule then it will gain the Uncanny Terror special rule instead.
SPIRITS OF THE VOID Cast on 12+ Spirits of the Void is a magic missile. All enemy units that can draw line of sight to the caster and are within 18” of her are affected. Each affected unit must take a Leadership test. If the test is failed, the unit suffers one Wound for each point failed by the test. No armour saves allowed for Wounds caused by the Spirits of the Void.
RENEWAL OF LOST SOULS Cast on 15+ Renewal of Lost Souls is an augment spell that targets any friendly undead unit with the Ethereal special rule within 12” of the caster, including the caster herself. Affected units gain the Regeneration (5+) special rule.

Has anyone done any more with these spectral undead. I picked up this painted unit of rank n file and wouldn't mind giving them a go in Warhammer Fantasy as part of a Vampire Counts army. Anyone got any rules floating around for them.
