Hello EEFLers,
After many long months (probably about a year) of development, another of my fan-made army lists is complete! Fans of my Albion list rejoice, for this new list focuses on their hated enemies, the twisted and reviled Hordes of Shadow, servants of the Dark Master, Be'lakor himself!
Amidst the desolated plains and gaunt rocky crags that litter the north of the island of Albion, a malevolent threat dwells, breeds and multiplies. Once mighty and proud tribesmen from the earliest of the nations of man, the Highlanders of the Shadow Clans are violent, savage and warlike barbarians who have traded their very souls in monstrous bargain for allies ancient and powerful. The Dark Emissaries rule these peoples with a corrupted iron fist, using guile, manipulation and betrayal to fuel the Lairds and their warriors into shocking deeds of brutal violence, and aid them in battle by conjuring vile undead servants to do their bidding. Worse yet are the Sidhe, mysterious and malevolent Shadow-Daemons who can twist space and time to defy the very laws of physics, and their gargantuan cousins the Fachans, terrifying Greater Daemons powerful in the art of dark magic. At their head is the great and powerful Be'lakor, first of all their kind, who seeks to challenge the forces of Order and the Chaos Gods alike with the strength of his new-found dominion at his side. At the ear-splitting skirl of corrupted bagpipes and bellowing warcries of crude family clans, the degenerate masses pour forwards, infighting rabbles of feral infantry supported by lithe horsemen, horrific sacrificial shrines, howling Greatwolves and all manner of revolting mutants. As the Dark Master aims to take his rightful place as ruler of the entire world, those beneath his rule will know the power of Chaos Undivided.
This army has also been inspired in part by the works of Matthew Klaas de Witte and Matthias Eliasson, as well as other Celt-inspired fantasy works like The Black Cauldron and a campaign from Warhammer's ancient past called 'The Tragedy of McDeath', an obvious Shakespeare rip-off that nevertheless gave the reader an insight into one of the very first adaptations of Albion, which has been reinvented by myself as the fallen north of Albion that the tribes in my Albion army list fight so hard to keep at bay. Though primarily a Chaos army, one of the things I wanted to do in this list was, to use Age of Sigmar parlance, to inject a bit of 'Death' and 'Destruction' into it as well (represented by the savage infighting nature of the Highlanders and the Undead units respectively) to really capture the feel of a 'United in Evil' army to properly reflect the nature of Be'lakor as being a wannabe leader of Chaos Undivided. The first draft of the list can be read below:

As with all my other Warhammer army lists, I have aimed to keep this one as balanced as possible, but the whole point of this first draft is to gain feedback from theoryhammerers and playtesters alike, so I'd love for as many of you to have a butcher's at it, and even have a game with it if you wish, as possible, and any constructive feedback would be much appreciated!
To get started, knoffles hivefleetmanticore chaosreigns admiral imrillion KevinC grandmasterwang strutsagget you have all taken great and commendable interest in my work before, and thus I'd love to know what you all think of this list, and to tag anyone else who you'd think would be interested in this!
Enjoy, though beware - significant exposure to this work may cause unwanted chanting in the name of the Dark Master and a desire to wander round in a kilt and Tam O'Shanter
