Here are some of the things that happened in turns 2-4:
- Gyrocopters dropped their bombs on the Grey Seer who was flying around on a Arabyan Carpet. The Dwarfs rolled poorly, the Grey Seer survived.
- In the Skaven turn, that Grey Seer cast the Dreaded Thirteenth spell, rolling exactly what he needed in order to succeed. The spell's target was a unit that contained the Dwarf general, the BSB and Josef Bugman. It wasn't a very big unit, so some or all of these Dwarf characters could have died. Luckily for the Dwarf player, the spell only killed 11 models, leaving the characters untouched. In the next Dwarf turn the characters joined another (bigger) Dwarf unit.
- A Night Goblin archer unit appeared right between Skaven and Dwarf units (thanks to the Ambush rule). Fanatics were released, they killed the flying Grey Seer and a unit of Dark Elf Black Riders.
- One turn later these archers were charged and broken by Skaven Slaves and the Hellpit Abomination. The Abomination ran them down and left the battlefield by doing so.
- Skarsnik's horde and the four Trolls fought their way through hostile Dwarfs until they were right in front of the Dwars's war machines. They took a lot of shooting by Gyrocopters until all normal Night Goblins in this unit were dead, only Skarsnik and a good number of Night Goblin characters were left.
- The Shaman in Skarsnik's unit killed a Dwarf unit down to 4 models with the Curse of da Bad Moon.
- The Dwarf unit that now contained the general, the BSB and Bugman charged a very big Skaven Slave unit. The Slaves lost combat but hold, and then a Clan Rat unit charged into the flank of the Dwarfs. The Dwarf unit, however, broke both Skaven units, which meant that the Slaves died automatically, while the Clan Rats were run down.
- Some Giant Rats charged a Gyrocopter but got quickly defeated.
- A Warpfire Thrower Weapon Team hit a Night Goblin Big Boss on a Great Cave Squig. He survived with one wound left, but decided to stay out of the combat zone from now on.
- The only Orc unit in Skarsnik's army got hit by a Ratling Gun and the Hydra's breath weapon and lost a good deal of its models.
- At some point, the Storm Fiends failed a panic test. They didn't rally until turn 6, which means that they were irrelevant for the rest of the game.
- A Weapon Team that rolled a misfire stumbled across the battlefield in a random direction until it was right in front of Golgfag's Maneaters. There, it exploded, killing two Ogres and wounding a third.
- Queek Headtaker and his Storm Vermin kill a Squig Herd.
VP at the end of turn 4: Skaven 1050, Orcs & Goblins 1000, Dwarfs 950.
