Wow, that's really nicely done. Superb basing as well.

I finished my Ancient Treewoman! Took me a long time to get her done, but I really like the result. Dat ass......wood.

You know it! I'm working on trying to wrap up this army. Got a good bit left, but I'm closing in on it!

That is an exceptional colour scheme imo. The blue cloaks with the grassy bases looks really nice.

Here's a pic of my Treemen. I still have one of the older, smaller Treemen, but I'm just not too sure of what to do with him.

The forest is moving. So, do you have more treemen than regular trees?
Your surplus guy could become a cool unit filler in a dryad unit maybe?

I have 4 Tree Terrain sets, and I have one coming from a Kickstarter soon (Monster Terrain, I think?) I've actually had the Tree sets out, working on them a bit. I thought about adding him to the Tree Kin as the Elder Tree Kin, but their base sizes are different. Honestly, I haven't given it too much thought, as how I don't really like the model very much. I got it right before the WE 8th edition book and army was released, so when the new version of the Treeman came out, I pretty much forgot about him. But I may drag him out again and see if I can't repurpose him, as you mentioned.

I love the new colour scheme!
Maybe for the old Treeman, use him as a tree in you terrain? Like a LoTR Huorn that unwary travellers can never be entirely sure whether it'll wake up and bash them or not.

That blue is lovely. I’m guessing the treeman you are talking about is the one that complements the treekin models. I was also never a huge fan but have seen a few where clumps of foliage have been added to it so it does look more like a tree (for some reason I think it might have been grandmasterwang who did this but I could be making that up!). You definitely have enough to do a narrative march of the ents scenario.

The metal one would be a nightmare to convert (or to assemble, and keep assembled).
