This is by far my favorite of the greater demons of that generation. Wow! Agreed. I saw your pictures first before I even started reading your text comments, and I thought the EXACT same thing. Ranked: 1). Tzeentch, Bird-like Lord of Change. Just so good 2). Big Poppa Nurgle himself, Slimy McGuts 3). Blood Thirster (which was a great model, just not my aesthetic, personally) 4). Slaanesh King of Boobies and Claws And I really like Slaanesh, so for me to rank him 4th out of 4 is a real hit. Fantastic paint job, you should be proud.

The Lord of Change looks great! If I was ever going to do a demon army (which is unlikely) it would be Tzeentch and I would have this version of the Lord of Change in it.

Tzeentch is not going anywhere, he'll be waiting, patiently. I like the love for the Changer of Ways on display here. Poor Tzeentch often got the short end of the stick model-wise in terms of new kits, especially on the mortal side. I guess there is the Silver Tower stuff now.

Awesome.
Likewise that is my favorite oop Greater Daemon.
Looks fantastic. I actually prefer this model to the newer Kairos
The Lord of Change is the quintessential Tzeenthian model.

Nice work. I really like the white screamers pulling the chariot.

ooh, Kairos, now there is a model I'd like to have. still waiting for the perfect deal. Stumbled upon this picture while updating the Empire thread. This is an Exalted Flamer on Foot with a little buddy. It's the same guy as on the chariot, magnetized. I've misplaced the rules unfortunately but, they were 'official' at some point.

A bit of an update. I've recently touched up a few of my old paint jobs. First and foremost, here are knights of Tzeentch with their sorcerer buddy. These are from before growth hormone therapy became standard in the chaos wastes for man and horse alike. And, then we have some vicious dogs. you can never have too many dogs. And, last and least some marauder horse conversion. I was mighty proud of them many moons ago...but, they haven't aged too well. Let me know what you think.

I really like that old sorceror model. I think the horse marauders look pretty cool. I reckon they look better than the newer released Hellstriders kit

never seen the hellstriders. staying away from slaanesh generally speaking. the current horsemen are really nice though, that's what makes these a bit dated looking. anyway, in game they redirect like the best of them. so it's all good.

I've posted this in my Empire thread. ---------- On the side I added to the bad guys. Anybody want to venture a guess what is peeking over the log? ------------- Then I realized I actually started this chaos project log, the perfect place to put this picture...wouldn't want my logs to get too CHAOTIC after all. Now, time for the great reveal. We had one bold answer: And, indeed, that's where the heads are from. A rather goofy looking chaos spawn from way back when. I don't have that model but somehow I ended up with the heads in my bits box and went for it...like this: I imagine the heads having quite a few disagreements, all THREE of them

You could probably give him a special rule where if he is solo opponents get no rear or flank charge bonus considering he can see all angles around him.

Not much glorious chaos here lately, the dwarfs have taken over on my paint desk for the most part. Still, here is another little sorcerer. Not as silly as the last, more on the creepy end of the spectrum. Really like the sculpt, lots to see, it took me years to find the third beak.
