sanilesI consider you should read all WE armybooks (and other sides too) - there are notable events/confrontations. Also see EOT missions as a template. Also see "Warhammer Civil wars" expansion. So fantasize all you want. Missions like "Control/save the [point/unit - wood/sanctuary/notable person]" and "Partizan (guerilla) wars" will be great. Especially with themed terrain of course. Offhand: 1."Save the tree". WE player gets (or must include) several units (dryads, tree kin) which should remain by the end of game. WE player lost if all such units are defeated. You may get some buffs/debuffs, depending on the number of such units at the start of each turn (random roll or choose). 2."Shrine". Set the appropriate piece of terrain at the start of the game. WE player should control this terrain by the end of the game. Also variant: in this scenario WE player should splite his army. One part of it is a "reinforcement" - it arrives at the start of X turn. While player controls it then all his army gets some bonuses/debuffs (and vice versa). Have fun. Are you talking about "historic" battles, or available scenarios?
If we are talking scenarios, the Albion/Dark Shadows scenarios fit WE perfectly. There are two 6th edition scenarios for the famous "historic" battles: the Battle of Pine Crags and the Battle of the Cairns.

I'm thinking more along the lines of FvonSigmaringen's statement. My buddies and I would like to do more than the standard scenarios in the BRB and got to looking around a bit, remembered (had a 'duh' moment) the historic battles and the other scenarios (e.g. Invasion... which is tonight and WILL have a batrep). Seems like we have plenty for some races, but we have a guy that only has WE and I want to make sure I look around for something WE-centric so it's not just a few of us doing stuff.

The Battle of Pine Crags scenario (against Dwarfs) can be found in 6th BRB p. 209.
The Battle of the Cairns (Undead versus WE & a Bretonnian character)is part two of the Return of the Lichemaster campaign, which can be found in WD UK 309-311 (US 308-310) (Sep-Nov 2005).
The 6ed Wood Elves AB p. 76-77 has a Woodland Ambush scenario which can be played against any other army.

I thought of those already mentioned too. Pine Crags, the greedy meatballs.. That Undead stuff, it was in White Dwarfs, was it not? And Perilious Quest. That one is around on the web.. PDF style, iirc.. I more like WEs versus "evil" factions, but i guess Bretonnians can be fun.. Don´t really remember that campaign, just the models.
Some herdstone getting cleared out/assaulted by the Wood Elves - the beastmen needs to be destroyed.. A couple of linked battles for that. Stuff like that..
