P.S.: Regarding Warriors of Chaos... the old (easily rankable) Chaos Warriors are just gone now. While their new "AoS versions" might technically be rankable, it is a serious PITA to do it - can not recommend! They make for nice unit champions though.
"Temporary out of stock" www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Chaos-Warriors-Regiment-2016So, some hope remains.
Sadly completely gone from the German store...

Weird. One would assume all the web stores would pull from the same database. Yes, they will have different stock levels. But a product being listed or not listed, seems like it would be universal.

This would explain it. I thought I was crazy for seeing them still on the webstore, when many people did not. Maybe I should clarify that I am using the US store for reference

It is also with a heavy heart that I inform you about the discontinuation of the Cogsmith. He was axed alongisde several other old Order characters with the new Cities of Sigmar book. Curious you say that, because though he is no longer available individually, you can still buy him in the Greywater Fastness box: So Grimm is still alive!

It seems to be gone from all stores except for the US/Canada/NZ/Australia one. I believe these are dealt with from a different hub than the others, but it could be something else.
Either way: the "monopose" Warriors are gone for the rest of the world.

Either way: the "monopose" Warriors are gone for the rest of the world. It's funny you should say that those 6th Edition Chaos Warriors were monopose, because one could argue that most GW models released today are even more so, because they place aesthetics above practicality now and do stupid stuff like having one leg separate from the rest of the body, with only one possible way to pose it on the body, rather than separating the torso and legs as they did with older models (like the Brian Nelson Orc Boyz) to achieve a similar goal (save space on the sprue) and also add in a lot more poseability at the same time.

Yea, people use "monopose" in two totally different ways when talking about plastic kits: - Each particular model in a kit can only be assembled from specific parts in one pose. But each model in the kit is in a different pose.
- Each model in the kit can be assembled from arbitrary parts arms. torso, legs, head. But they all end up in basically the same pose.
Each style has its advantages. Myself? I prefer metal models.

Another army that could be added to your list are the Chaos Dwarfs (specifically the Legion of Azgorh from the Forge World book... Tamurkhan: The Throne of Chaos). Forge World discontinued the entire model line, so they'd fit along side the Tomb Kings and Bretonnia in your list.

Excellent resource, and thanks for putting this together!
I think the old Chaos Warriors kit is about to go entirely - the new kit (like the Chaos Knights) is about to be re-released separately with command options, so I imagine they'll cull the old one at the same time.
Daemons of Chaos I'd very much suggest putting top-tier. I think most WFB players are more relaxed about base sizes these days. The Bloodthirster was released during 8th (albeit End Times) and came with a chariot base, so GW was already increasing the base size then from the old 50 x 50s. I don't think it's right to say that aside from eBay, your only option for a general is a Daemon Prince.

I've recently been trying to get into Beastmen, and their most recent box with with 30 troops, 3 dragon ogres (uh not the same army for WFB!) and a shaman is the closest thing to good value they seem to have. Buying from a discounter, assuming I could find a chaos player to sell the DOs if I didn't want them for $50 then that's still around $110AUD for 31 miniatures, which is only really half a unit each for WFB 8th units. That and the lizardmen sets seem to still give a decent amount of models for the cost.
I'll be the first to admit to having a decent discretionary-spending budget but I just can't hand over the absurd prices they're asking for units (in reduced size compared to WFB days) these days!

I think the DOs are on 50*75 bases so they work really well as unit fillers for the Beastmen and saves having to buy as many Gor or Bestigor (if you like unit fillers). In most combats you’ll be pulling off beastmen due to their lack of save so there is no harm in having the fillers. I’ve been considering picking up another box just for such a reason!

Great thread! Certainly useful for trying to get people into the game until old world comes out.
Side note: GW or now doing cycles with their kits, meaning that they produce x kit for y amount of time and then switch to producing z kits for y(?) amount of time. So that would explain the out of stock kits a bit.
