Just curious.. I don´t see these guys much anymore.. They were the shit around where I played when they were released, plastic, multi-part Night Gobbos!
They are a bit goofy but I like them - though I don´t have any myself anymore. All I see is the 7th Ed (?) Night Gobbos, which are fine.. But I would honestly prefer having just Brian nelson Night Gobbos..
You guys see them around? How about on e-bay and so on - hard to find, expensive? I am thinking of maybe trying to replace my 35 mob with them if I can...... And expand it.

I've been picking them up at about €50 a set. They are not as common for sure. 7th Eds ones are pennies each due to the mass amounts from the starter set, and the kit that matched them is still for sale even today. I think the size difference from the early Kev Adam style ones might also be a reason they were not as popular at the time.
I love the Brian Nelson kit tbh, they make for amazing 'night goblin' wolf rider kit bashes.
Brought what I thought was a open but new set quite a while back and it was missing the sprues to make 5, so that was annoying!

Ah no, bummer! Hope you find more cheaply! Yeah, never got the chance to try mixing them with common Goblins.. Not a huge fan of those - who made them again? brian nelson though.. I am a fan boi.. It took me a little while. I remember seeing his metal Big ´uns but I was not into WFB then. I could sense something.. But when the Orc Warriors and Ork version came out.. Yeah.. I am more into orcs but I kinda need that meat shield and I would prefer those Brian nelson NGs as my meat sheidl, hehe.. Got any pics of your stuff?

It's funny, I used not to like them and prefer still the 7th edition smaller ones but their goofiness has grown on me and I appreciate them a lot more now.
Likewise haven't seen many of them on Ebay.

Yeah - they are cool.. when they came I was all for them and a friend bought a bunch as well as some chariots. but he never painted, or barely built them.. Then I almost forgot about them once I cam back and saw the current ones. Which are.. Fine. But I love Brian´s faces. His Fanatics are probably my fav Fanatics too.

Those multi-part miniatures were my first Night Goblins. Still think they are cool.
I came to like the smaller ones too, but at first I was surprised about how small they really were (there are Snotling miniatures that are bigger than the Skull Pass Night Goblins).

I have a box of the Brian Nelson style plastic night goblins I can trade. All the trooper sprues are complete -- makes twenty night goblins with choice of weapons. But the command sprue, bases, and some of the shields are missing.
DM me if you want to work out a trade.

Yeah those newer ones are small! I both like it yet miss the BN ones.. I don´t dislike them, pretty evil grins - but a mix of goofy, stupid and evil grins of those older is my thing.. And the massive hands is.. Charming.. The new ones are easier to assemble, like most new things? With the shields moulded to the arms and so on. I´ll look around propelry when I am able maybe obtain some and see if i can replace the NGs in my army with them. Never really intended masses of NGs, one largish mob, plus a smaller perhaps so might be do-able. Right now I have 35 with spears adn 20 with short bows 8weird units yes). Yeah right - it is like they are gone sonofkurnous. Well, atleast where I look. Rogue Elemnt Gaming (playing 6th) has them though, saw that the other day (nice YT vids)

Thankfully I was a wasteful youth and have the left overs of a set I butchered when they were first released, so I should just about have enough parts to scrap together 4-5. If not, then a few snotlings and a unit filler will do until the next batch show up on the cheap! There are some pictures of my Night goblin wolf riders (as well as some other Brian Nelson conversions) in my painting thread: eefl.freeforums.net/thread/1763/mallos-project-log?page=1I have done more work on them since, but experimented with some of the new Kings of war goblins. I like the kit alone, but the conversion to wolf riders did not work for me so I haven't carried on with the wolf riders since. I Must get back to them, its just a case of amassing new bits. Yeah Brian Nelson made the common wolf rider sculpts too, I like the kit but some of the 40k Goblin heads are nicer sculpts so when I can I try to get them to add to the wolf packs!

Thanks for that! They look cool, I hope you find some nice bitz. Yupp, the heads looked a bit.. off? To me.. Sounds like a good idea to find better ones.

They were among the very first multipart plastic kits from GW, and came around when I had just got in touch with WHF. So... yeah, I love them.
They scale is off compared to the more current Nightgoblin sculpts, but other than that I think the kit holds up well. I think they make for excellent "big uns", so fielding them alongside my Nightgoblin big guy is appropriate.
As for availability? They go for reasonable money on Ebay Germany all the time. Unless you are looking for NIB kits, those go for silly money...
