What a beast! He fits great on that base. Is that a 40mm? Yep! All 6 rank up quite easily too! I'll post a pic of the whole unit later.

Looks amazing!! I absolutely love seeing newer AoS models retrospectively forced on to square bases. Your muted tones really suit the feel of the model too

I love your colour choices on this. The new stone trolls hadn't interested me before, which I think was GW's paint scheme. Yours is so much better.

Thanks, guys! Like I said, they are quite easy to rank up. I'm looking forward to having these guys all painted up, even though, it might take me a while since I just had surgery on my left hand and holding a model is proving tricky.

Fantastic looking unit, they'll still fail their stupidity test at the vital moment though!

I really like the paintjob on those trolls! The choice of colours is simply great. What's your recipe for the warpstone?

I really like the paintjob on those trolls! The choice of colours is simply great. What's your recipe for the warpstone? Thanks! The warpstone was pretty simple. Administratum Grey base, Warp Lightening Contrast, then highlight the edges with Moot Green and darken middle areas with Nuln Oil (that may take multiple applications until you achieve the desired shade you want.). Doesn't take very long. While you wait for paints to dry, simply work on other areas.
