Is there an army book for them? In any form? I see warhammer fantasy projects has a pdf and actually referenced Kevin Coleman, which I am pretty sure is Kevin C.

Thank you so much, is this like official then? If I take a chaos dwarf army anyone would be cool with me using it?

I know these versions of Chaos Dwarfs were allowed and used at large tournaments like Crossroads (with 100+ attendees). Heck, I played against the large hats once or twice at tourneys. So, I think you should be fine. It is a AWESOME army.

The link above gives a Q&A and errata for 8th edition.
You'll need opponent's permission, it's not official.
I still would recommend the official 8th edition Chaos Dwarf army list, which is found in the Tamarkhan campaign book from forge world.

The Legions of Azgorh list in Tamurkhan is an official 8th list as far as I am aware. It is a rather nice book, if not a little pricey. I will be running my big hat army using this list once I finally get it painted (current ETA sometime around 2020)

Well I have the book now and I'm not impressed, only 2 core choices and it's 7th edition set up. Since depending on the unit musician upgrade is 4-10 points, banner is 6-10 points and the champion is 8-12 points. But it's odd because the spell lore is set up like 8th edition, they have a lore attribute and signature spell....

The book was released during 8th edition, though they began writing it under 7th. The Empire and Warriors of Chaos army books that were out at the time were the 7th edition versions.

Regarding Tamurkhan it is a list for the Legion of Azgorth a fringe Chaos Dwarf stronghold. It doesn't really cover Chaos Dwarfs as a whole, effectively being a theme list such as those found in Storm of Chaos. That's why there is no option for standard Chaos Dwarf warriors (such as those crewing the death rocket/earthshaker) and instead only Infernal Guard in their stead. I personally love the Tamurkhan publication and play Chaos Dwarfs amongst my gaming group with a bunch of additions/options on top of the Legion of Azgorth template. I have ordered the Shar'tor model and will look to the fanmade Chaos Dwarf lists such as KevinC's for rule inspiration to field him. Tamurkhan/Azgorth is unfortunately limited to hero level Bull Centaurs and Chaos Dwarf non magical characters.

I will almost certainly be fielding Shar'tor as a Kdaii Destroyer

I will almost certainly be fielding Shar'tor as a Kdaii Destroyer That seems fair enough... From the pictures big Shar looks sizeable 😀 enough to fill a 100*150 base. I'll certainly post pictures once I have him. I won't be using him as a destroyer as I plan on painting him in more earthy/darker tones so he won't look firey at all. Also I have Vohlcanos the Burning to use as a Destroyer should the need arise to run a pure Tamurkhan list. I have a spare 100*150 base he can slot onto. Legion of Azgorth Destroyer!
