Hey, Since the curse is broken and I actually won a game, let's try another. 2500 points of Skaven versus Empire. I'm expecting lots of demis and a knight bus. Not sure if the stank will be there. Extra rules, no lvl 3 of 4 wizards, no dispel scrolls.
Lords
Queek Headtaker --> Stormvermin
Warlord (Wizard hat, Halberd) --> Stormvermin
Heroes
Assassin (weeping blades, potion of strength) --> Gutter runners
Warlock Engineer (Doomrocket) --> Skavenslaves
Chieftain (BSB, Talisman of Preservation, Halberd)
Core
20 Clanrats (Poison Wind Mortar)
50 Skavenslaves ( Mus )
50 Skavenslaves ( Mus )
35 Stormvermin (Mus, SB, Razor standard, Queek upgrade)
1 Packmaster + 5 Giant Rats
1 Packmaster + 5 Giant Rats
Special
35 Plague Monks (Mus, SB, Plague banner)
9 Gutter Runners (Slings, Poison)
9 Gutter Runners (Slings, Poison)
Rare
2 Warp Lightning Cannon
1 Plagueclaw Catapult
How should I deploy? My plan is the Plagueclaw catapult and the clanrats on the left. A skaven block in the middle and everything else on the right. I went for the wizard hat because it has helped me in the past. Casting Wildform on skavenslaves is just hilarious. Metal would be good, light too.
Any ideas of suggestions?

Queek ftw!!
Play in true Slaven style and use everything!! To protect Queek and his elite Stormvermin. Everything is up for sacrifice except that unit!

I think the key to winning with this army against the stated empire army would be to use all of the shooting against the demis. If the demis make it full strength into your elite rank and file (stormvermin or plague monks) those units will be done for and your battle plans probably ruined.

I was also thinking about putting the wlc's at both corners of the deployment zone so that they can have more targets. Demis and stank are key priorities. The assassin will have to see where everybody is in round two and who would make the most juicy target

Demigryphs are very very nasty. In combat the assassin with weaping blades is hands down the best thing to take them out with his potion of strength. He will strike first and with good rolling could kill a unit of 3 solo. Just like Queek to deploy a sneaky assassin like that then send him on a death mission to eliminate a threat.
