frozenfood as you asked for it, I have provided . Updated with a Beastman document. To repeat what I added to the original post: The 3rd article by Azeebo has some spot on character builds in it and there aren't many of his general character and unit observations that I disagree with.

Yeah, theory hammer and actual play are two vastly different things. I think a LOT of people usually just toss around theory hammer because that's what they've read. For example, most of my 9 years of experience has been with Empire. They've always been my go-to as far as armies and the one that I know the best. Most people will tell you that you should take the Lore of Light with Empire because it has so much synergy with them, it's the cheapest to cast, etc., but in my experience, it has never benefitted me much at all. Once in a blue-moon has something worked out well, but usually it's just no help. I don't have anything against it, but I just prefer other Lores. (My favorite for Empire are Heavens, Beasts, and Life. Depending on your opponents.) That's the trick with Empire. The army is so flexible, no two Empire armies function the same way. And unless your army is built around maximizing the Light synergy, you could very well wind up being better off using other lores instead.

This looks like a great source of information. Maybe we should consider trying to get one for every army linked here and then sticking this thread? I don't find any comprehensive army tactics sticky thread here and this would be a great source of info for someone considering a new army (or I know it is rare now but even someone considering starting to play warhammer and deciding on an army).

I thought it had a pretty good breakdown of the Tomb King army. Good advice for all. Sorry mate, I stopped reading after the crap he was talking about on the Colossus, it doesn't need a 6 rather its an unsaved wound. So anyone with heavy armour and shield is mince. There are too many inaccuracies and wrong conclusions. Yep, I know army building is up to the player but rules aren't. Greg

strutsagget I'm tagging you here as one of the downloadable files in this post is about wood elves and gives links to good articles (as well as having them in one easy to read word document). Hope you find it useful.

Am I missing something or does the OP no longer have a dropbox link? Are these still around? Thanks!

Am I missing something or does the OP no longer have a dropbox link? Are these still around? Thanks! Which one are you after? I probably moved them from my drop box to free up room a while ago and because most of the documents and articles were added to the race specific facts section (and tidied up). Edit - these are also the stickied posts in the relevant sections.
