The final of the scenarios i'm adapting is fairly straight forward and just involves capturing terrain pieces. Because we are using our own terrain generator (i'll put that up at some point), it can be tailored to only certain types of terrain if needed.
SECURE
Your general has decided that each piece of terrain on the battlefield is of too much strategic importance to allow them to be used by the enemy commander. As such you have been ordered to ensure they are in your hands by the end of the battle.
THE ARMIES
Each player chooses an army from a Warhammer army list, equal to 2500 points
THE BATTLEFIELD
Terrain is set up as described on page 142 of the Warhammer rulebook.
DEPLOYMENT
Players deploy their armies as per the Battleline scenario as described in the Warhammer rulebook (page. 144).
FIRST TURN
After deployment, players roll off to see which player takes the first turn. The player who finished deploying his army first adds a +1 bonus to his roll.
GAME LENGTH
The battle will last for six game turns.
VICTORY CONDITIONS
Note: Scouts and Vanguarding units can capture terrain during deployment and open moves.
** A unit can be any troop type apart from Characters and their mounts (mounts include unique mounts such as screaming bells/Cauldrons of blood or anything else that comes from the Lord/Hero points allowance).

VICTORY CONDITIONS
- 1 Victory point is awarded for each piece of terrain you control at the end of the game. Control can only be claimed by moving a unit** into the terrain and if no enemy unit** is within 3” of the terrain piece.
- Any pieces of terrain that are entirely on your opponent’s half of the board are worth double their normal victory points.
- At the end of the battle, if you have more victory points than your opponent, then you win, otherwise it is a draw.
Note: Scouts and Vanguarding units can capture terrain during deployment and open moves.
