I'm sure you've seen the Legion of the Damned at some point, they are black and have bones and flames all over them. The unit is described as being like ghostly apparitions, appearing in the Rick of the fight when Imperial forces are in desperate need. Some fluff suggests that they may be the spirits (ghosts) of dead space marines...maybe even those killed during the times of the Horus Heresy. My interpretation is that so I've used 30k Mk3 space marine armor to represent my guys. They can enter play using the equivalent of deep strike allowing them to materialize anywhere on the battlefield. I stayed up really late last night to complete the unit of 5 so that they are ready for my battle with wilsonthenarc tomorrow. |
