I pledge 1 Cor'Bax Utterblight or other substitute thunderstomper. Made a start on the blighted one.

Wow! We're already making a lot of progress guys! Great work!
Well, I've managed to finish my Dwarf Slayer, but I'm sending it to knoffles as a "thank you" for supplying me with the spare parts I needed to finish my Greybeards, so I'll let him post pics of him when he receives him in the post if he wants to. Or I can simply post the pics I took at that time, but I don't want to spoil the surprise before he gets it.
My other projects are coming along quite nicely too. I should have pics up of some finished pieces soon.

Damn... and I thought I would be the first one to finish this month haha. After nearly failing last month, this month I got right into it. Cor'Bax Utterblight ready for battle.

They look great!
So where are they from? And where do you get your banner decals from? I'm assuming that the "runes" are hand-drawn?

Thanks. They are from a Spanish company called 'Gamezone'. The decals (and that includes the runes) are from an old Space Wolf decal sheet. Why do Space Wolf and Dwarf use the same alphabet? Beats me.

In my experience, if you only take ~20 Hammerers, be sure to give them shields, because otherwise, they'll get really shot up before they reach close combat. But if they have a 4+, 5++ (I'm assuming you'll have MRoGrungni somewhere nearby) then you should be just fine.
There seems to be this grey area where people look at a 20-man unit and think, "I can handle that!" but when it starts to get to the 30+ size, they don't want to bother and just try to redirect/avoid the unit. FYI. They're simply too good to leave at home though.

FYI. They're simply too good to leave at home though. Couldn't agree more with the grey area comment. I always struggle to fit the points in for shields though. And onto the challenge. 16 Bestigors (rather than 17, as previously i'd counted the pre-painted one I was using to ensure colour co-ordination!). This takes the tally to 40 in all. One thing I have decided is the armour on the Bestigor is way too pristine (even with the fluff around them stealing the armour from my Dwarven Throng), so I need to add some sort of rust or other effect. If anyone can advise a simple method, it would be appreciated (really simple as i'm lazy...). ( Edit: And as normal, once I posted the photos, I realised I hadn't given the wood items a wash so will go back and do that!). Bashor the Bloody (Beastlord) I put in a bit more effort on the lord. His hair will make him stand out from the rest of the herd and that is emphasised by him appropriating the most unique cloth for his outfit (from the body of a Bretonnian Knight he had slain). The hair was too bright (even after the red wash), as was the tabard, so I liberally applied nuln oil to both to 'dirty them'.
