The Seattle Hearts of Fire Tournament used to be 8th. I bet if you ask around with this group you should be able to find some players still playing 8th ed. www.facebook.com/TSHFT/

That's awesome! But sadly, I don't use facebook for personal reasons. I'm hoping to find fellow Washingtonians to play with.

Looks like the FB group doesn't require a FB account for view access. Check through it (or google) there probably is a tournament email address someplace on there that you can ping to ask for some recommendations on players you can connect with.
Was a pretty decent sized 8th ed tournament once upon a time.

Yeah? You think they will let a noobie with a 1500 point army like me join for fun? I'll have to find an email.

Also I always recommend checking through the 9th Age player finder on their forum they have a map function that works pretty well. Tell them you are more interested in 8th then 9th Age but be willing to try either and you should be able to find an opponent.
I think many 9th Age adherents are willing to do either.

I could've done it myself hahaha. Thank you, I appreciate it!

I make a trip up to washinton every few months to hang out with my friends up there, so maybe something could go down then. If not, there is always Tabletop Simulator

If not, there is always Tabletop Simulator That would be cool, I'm a newbie, so I'm pouring through the 8th ed rule book and my army book while painting my 1500 pt. Orc army. If you're interested and in town send me a message and let see if we can get a game in.
