So, like... Necromunda? Round bases? But Badass Fantasy Dudes? Pre-order starts on or around October 14th. OK.
Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire is a game for two to four players, in which each player takes their warband of fantastically detailed Citadel Miniatures and pits them against their rivals in battles across the dark city of Shadespire. It’s a game of strategy, fast-paced combat and devious ploys, and though you’ll find this an easy game to pick up, only the most experienced players will master it.
Right now, there appear to be just two gangs planned. (1) Stormcast Eternals, and (2) Khorne Bloodbound.
I might bet that the next add will be two more gangs, side by side: (1) Dwarf, most likely FyreSlayers along with (2) Orcs. Just plain green Orcs.
I think that there are actually 4 factions. Sigmarines, Khorne dudes, Orcs and Skeletons (Undead).
I have to admit, this actually appeals to me. If I want to get a game in with a couple of my buddies (which happens frequently), then I don't have to resort to Triumph and Treachery so that we can all play. Plus, its quick, which, with me and my friends all having to get time away from out families in order to play a game, then it needs to be quick, unless our wives are really nice to us and let us have a day off (which usually means that we pay for it some other way.)

I was thinking the same thing. Have this in the basement... set up and ready to go. If you have 4 or 6 or 8 people playing, and if 2 people get done with their game early, you can go to this as a fun "Less than 1 hour" side game.
The main drawback to it will be how they price it. If it's a $100 game, nope. Forget that. Mostly due to the fact that you'll have to have multiple copies of the game if you want to play more than one opponent. That can kill it for me.
My armies: Empire, Dwarfs, High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Skaven, Tomb Kings, Ogre Kingdoms, Orcs and Goblins, and Skitarii (40K).
$60 price tag. $25 faction additions that come with cards and models. Current factions Khorne, Orcs, skeletons, stormcast. Very good initial reviews. Deck building aspects without RNG or pay to win and low model count make it play strategically but quickly. 45 minute games.
Quite excited for this I want fast competitive, easy to paint but still miniature based games in my life. Bloodbowl is almost a very good fit but still takes 2 hours.
