Here is my army on its display base. There is a bit more to paint, and not everything in the picture is part of my list. I also need to trim the right side of the backdrop. Attachments:

Might tweak a few #s, got about 75 left to spend. Will likely be on various smaller magic items.

Kevin, do you mean the very first list I posted, or the first option of these two choices?

Great Cannon (120 pts) Helblaster Volley Gun (120 pts) Master Engineer (65 pts) I'd probably give the OTS to the General over the Ruby Ring. It is too easily dispelled, and you'll have so many other spells and prayers that you want to get off before devoting PD to that low-level spell. I generally only take that if I just have one low-level caster and need a magic missile (usually small pt games). The General will need to make sure as many of his attacks will go through as possible. The OTS will help him with that. As for your Wizard, If you are going to put him in with the ICKs, I'd make him a Celestial Wizard, give him Van Horsman's Speculum, Lv4, and the Opal Amulet instead of the General. The Celestial spell Harmonic Convergence works amazingly well with 1+ ICKs. He's sure to see combat though, so I'd do what I can to protect him. VHS is one of the best ways of doing that. Also, I'd probably consider taking the Demis down to a unit of 4, unless you are really worried about taking panic tests. That can be curbed by giving them the Gleaming Pennant (5 pts) or Standard of Discipline (15 pts). By trimming a few points here and there, you could add in another Captain to your Greatswords with a Great Weapon, Full Plate Armor, Ironcurse Icon, etc. to give them a little extra punch if you need it.

I gave the Wizard Metal Lore cause I anticipate seeing A LOT of opposing Demigryphs, Inner Circle Knights, Steam Tanks, Chaos Warriors, Chaos Knights and Bloodcrushers. All things with a 1+ (ish) armor save. The 0-level metal spell is a reliable threat versus all of these things, right? He is level 2... I was actually debating knocking him down to a level 1 and just always taking Searing Doom. D6 chances for 2+ kills? Value town. It makes a rinky dink spell a "Must Dispel" against some units. Metal has an insane buff, IIRC, +1 to hits and other goodies. The rest of metal stinks. Except Megadeth. They're pretty good too.
