Hey guys, decided to join up here  As me and my friends will keep playing 8th edition now, having an active board about the game should be great! What I like the most about the hobby is the modelling parts, so that might be what I post the most about. I'm also a decent painter, but don't have as much fun than with a paintbrush than with a knife and glue  I'm a Undead player (both kind) at heart, but I also dabble in the lesser races like Empire, Chaos Warriors (Tzeentch), Daemons (Khorne) and some Dark Elves too. Met some of you guys at Da boyz, I'm a regular at xroads gt and unplugged gt. Been playing a long while usually out of the syracuse area but I live in brockport, ny (rochester area)for now.
Play vampire, skaven, ogres, Dark elves(next army project) and on a rainy day my classic brets. I enjoy 8th(when hills block los) will prob do 9th age too cause it seems similar. Pretty burnt out on painting these days so just gaming for me.

Hello all!
Finally GrandmasterWang has arrived and signed up to this great place.
8th Edition is my favorite edition of Warhammer and i love the mass battle feel it brings to the tabletop.
I have too many armies lol but dwarfs are my main one. Chaos dwarfs are my sentimental favourite along with my tomb kings.
Good on you all for keeping this place and 8th edition pumping

I played Empire (Cathay) at Da Boyz. I am currently working on a shambling horde of Tomb Kings... I really want to get some games in with them. Vampire versus TK always seems fun - we'll set no turn limit and fight the world's single longest combat. Kill 12 dudes, 7 dudes die to combat res, I resurrect 11 dudes, etc. The grind! Anyway. Hi guys!
Just came here after seeing GrandMasterWang post about EEFL on Warseer, and when I figured out what it stood for, I joined =)
Short info; 33 years old, from Sweden, been playing (read collecting. Obsessively.) since 94-95. Favorite armies are O&G and Dwarfs (old school), but I also collect HE, WE, WoC and Ogres.
AoS is most definetly not for me, neither is KoW, so I'm oldhammer/8th all the way.
Glad to have found this forum, and will be uploading pictuers of stuff I paint (if and when).

I agree. Would be great if we as a community could strive towards something, instead of just obsessing over small percived flaws in an otherwise quite good game. Hope this is the place =)
