That horde is looking very pointy.
Nice Red Duke miniature.
Is he the same Red Duke as from the novel?
I quite enjoyed the Red Duke novel.... It's got some good moments for Bretonian and Vampire Counts fans in it.

Yes that's the Red Duke from the novel. Thoughts on this: I highlighted to light gray on these ethereal but just tried a banshee highlighted to white. Is there enough contrast on the other guys or should I add the white to the rest of my ethereal? Also here's a WiP of my pumpkin golem:

I would go to white. stay flashy my friend. Held up to my face the white looks 'much' but at tabletop distance it might be the right amount of pop. It's right on the edge of too much though, and I have to imagine what all of my wraiths and spirit hosts will look like with the white as well.

Heh... That Pumpkin Golem is awesome. Lovely miniature and paint scheme. What are you using it as?
I like the unit of blood knights with the official awesome banner bearer model. I do think the unit would have even more Oomph if you positioned the Red Duke at the centre and swapped the unit champion out to the side.
Regarding the ethereal unit, I think they look good but maybe add just a touch of white so that they are a tiny bit brighter but still not as bright/eye catching as the banshee. I suck at painting ethereal stuff though so what do I know.
What colours did you use for the unit?
I'm thinking I might paint my reaper Kracken up as a 'spirit kracken'. It's been sitting abandoned base coated Sandro Dust for ages and ages

David S. Pumpkins will be joining my crypt horror collection. I've got some odd horror constructs in there and he will fit right in.

Hahaha that is so good!
Great paint job and pictures. Pumpkin Golem looks super vibrant. If you field a champion on the unit it should definitely be David S. Pumpkin.

Hahahaha. Your Pumpkin Ogre needs 2 henchmen in the unit, one flanking him on each side. If I ever see that suit jacket on sales, consider it bought
