But that part will be for AoS how I take it? There seems to have been a lot of salt over some named characters being skipped in AoS, so I take it as they are giving people house rules for them.

Interesting....not quite sure what this'll be other than, "We're going to give you a chance to still buy the old models". It doesn't sound to me like they're resurrecting 8th by any means, but at least they're acknowledging that there is enough of a contingent of players who still want to play in the old world setting. They'll also be releasing these in waves, which, to my way of thinking, means that they won't keep them on the "made to order" roster for extended periods. Get 'em while you can, kinda thing.
So Dark Elves are up first. They must be trying to capitalize on their recent Morathi and Witch Elf release. More power to 'em if it works. Those new models are awfully expensive though.
I have to admit though, that new Sea Elf army looks AMAZING! I am SOOOO tempted to start yet ANOTHER army! But for 8th edition of course...

Hadn't seen that part... this makes me hopeful that they saw a trend on that survey they created many moons ago that made them aware of large untapped playerbase that love the older editions. It might be a test to see if there is a market for older editions, hopefully that translated into a revival of sorts?

So they are finally making "Fish-men!" Looks like the Elves, the narrator possible Teclis?
I got super excited when I saw Warhammer Legend rules (I was thinking 8th edition rules), but I guess it's for AOS. Still glad they are doing that...

Yeah from an EEFL standpoint it's just they are going to cast on demand some of these cool OOP stuff.
The new sea elves are flat out amazing. Would make very cool Dark Elves for 8th.
Yeah some people miss these old sculpts and characters so they are returning to giving folks rules for them.
A 'Settra' (non named tomb lord on chariot) tomb kings army won the overall at an AoS tournament I ran this weekend.

I got super excited when I saw the "Sea Elves" riding that Sea Turtle Dragon because I've got one coming with my Reaper Bones 4 kickstarter! I was thinking that I'd use it for my Lizardmen, but now there's an exact unit that it can be an alternate for! Of course, the kit will probably cost over $100.... And yeah, I'm with you, Kevin, that had to be Teclis narrating that video. Maybe that "Wave Rider" IS Teclis?

I'm not going to hold my breath, but I'm hoping they do make ONE Beastmen model. The newer Kazarak is impossible to find.

fish elves! I bet there will be a sharknado type miniature. I don't see any indication for 'official' 8th edition content, just more pilfering of 'the world that was' background for AoS.

It’s basically just made to order stuff continuing but for once with a fantasy slant. It’s a shame (for me) that they are starting with DE’s but that purely selfish as it’s one army I’m not fussed about. I wonder what their timescale on releases is as previously the made to order are very spaced out

Those sea elves look lovely. Pity they'll be GW expensive.

Floating magical fishes and turtles! That says a lot about GW and aos player intelligence and culture.
And well I hate how Warhammer: Legends will have nothing to do with Warhammer but it'll just be about aos pillaging Warhammer characters, Aos is such a Warhammer parasite.
