Hi Guys !
I am planning to organize a massive battle with a friend using Nagash.
I have always been a huge Nagash fan. I have the model, I painted him, but I never got the chance to try him.
I just re-read the end times white dwarf from 2014 when they re-released him with his new end times set of rules.
There is a battle report in there where Nagash faces a super massive tomb king army ALONE and smashes them.
What I would like to do is something similar with my friend who is playing dark elves. Nothing too serious, this would be a game for fun.
Nagash is extremely powerful and worth 1000pts alone so I am having trouble knowing how many points my friend should field to keep it as "balanced" as possible.
In the white dwarf battle report, there is no detail of points so I don't really know how many points of tomb kings were actually there. But it might be at least 4000 points.
I am thinking that if I take Nagash alone and my friend fields 3000pts of his best dark elves, it should be a good way to try and see how it goes.
What do you guys think ? Do you have any experience playing Nagash or have you ever seen him in action ?
I'm excited at the idea of trying him but I really don't know how it will go and how we could have an entertaining game based on that.
Also, even though Nagash can raise huge armies by himself, I am limited by the amount of models that I have so I can't go over the top and spam blood knights or grave guards or whatever.
Any advice for figuring this out would be welcome.
