Hello Everybody on EEFL We are Tower Miniatures, we are a startup based in the UK and we have launched a Kickstarter based on the common troll. if anyone is an Orc and goblin player and want to increase there Green ranks please check out our Kickstarter. Our campaign is based on the life cycle of the troll and both of our reward miniatures show trolls at different points of age with the theory if nothing kills a troll they just keep getting bigger and bigger... We have an early bird pledge the troll swarm which gives ten monstrous trolls and the Wrecking troll. Then we have the Mega Troll Horde giving thirty trolls and also with the wrecking troll. The Troll hunting Pack Wrecking Troll So we don't have repeating models we will be releasing arms and head swaps as stretch goals or free add-ons in what we call the "Bitz Pit". Thank you for reading and please comment on what you think.

They're good looking trolls - thanks for sharing the project with us. I'm not in a position to join in just yet (trying to buy a house) but I'd definitely want to pick these models up at some point in the future.
One thing I will say - in most miniature games/settings trolls are funny. Yours have the right look, but seem to be missing just a little of the humour (aside from the vomit), and their poses are mostly similar (hunched forward, arms on the ground). I don't know if that's something you've got planned as part of the alternate heads/arms, but the models could do with a little more character and variety. I'm thinking of things like the GW river trolls holding a fish or boat-hook. Perhaps you could have one scratching at its unmentionables?

Thanks, Sedge
I will keep that in mind when we release the bits for stretch goals. As for the hunched over look, it was done intentionally as a possible gorilla-like movement was intended, as trolls move faster then there smaller green skinned cousins.
But got to confess the scratching is a great idea

This is a great start for your company! I love 'em! I just backed your Kickstarter as well!
I would like to agree with Sedge, you do need a bit more variety in their pose options. Humor would be a great choice to add that variety. It doesn't have to be over-the-top, but something like picking a nose, scratching a butt, or staring up at the sky, open mouthed. (That's just an example off the top of my head and I'm sure you can come up with much better ideas.)
What else are you thinking of adding to the army selection? If I can add in a request - SQUIGS! There are virtually NO alternative Squigs on the market. The small round balls that are available now, are UBER expensive and rarely seen because of it. If you were to add some of those to your group, I have no doubt that you'd attract a ton of attention to your campaign! Also, (as we have had a recent discussion on this website, Hobgoblins. I know they're not necessarily an "Orcs and Goblins" unit, but they could fit in very nicely with what you have going here. Those are very difficult for players to represent.
BTW, I love your tower/banner/symbol for your company! It keeps it simple, easy to visualize, and gets the point across. Good job!

Hi Mottdon YES, Cave Boglins is summit we would love to do BUT! we are wary that it is still a core Character design of grimdark and the age of human gods, we have been playing around with the idea of young orcs been put in pots and forced certain fungi to turn them into raving bouncing creatures, a dark secret by all cave goblins. it might be a bit of a stretch to get such design made for this Kickstarter but we will have other big mouthed creatures coming this way.
Thanks for the tips and the logo love.

Is that why there isn't more Squig (or whatever anyone wants to call them) designs out there? Because GW owns the rights to them?
Would it be a stretch to call them some form of experimental mushroom, conjured to like by a Goblin 'Shroom Shaman Farmer? Or even little cave critters hopped up on their favorite 'Shroom snack, being driven away by Goblin 'Shroom farmers. Don't get in their way! They eat everything when high on those 'Shrooms! Or maybe some form of Troglodyte cousin? Lol. It's so full of potential.
I'm not too concerned about getting anything like that out in this Kickstarter, necessarily, but I'd certainly like to see something usable in the future.

I ain't even a Troll player... and I am likely to say YES. I am doing a SWAMP ELF army right now, but these guys are on point, theme wise.
I may pull the trigger on this tomorrow. Great minis, thanks for sharing. $40 USD for 5 really good trolls? If I hadn't blown $70 Tuesday on eBay this would be a no-brainer. Please share more as you have it...
