The rules mean, if you roll a 7 you gain Fear. If you roll a 7 again, reroll until you get a result other than another 7.
THANK YOU fo you kind words. I'm glad you like it.

Hi Kevin,
there's a question that I already had for the first version (and this didn't change with the new one)...
For nearly all the new Orcs & Goblins characters, its says "Any Orcs & Goblins army may include X...".
It doesn't say so, however, for Ruglud Bonechewer. Is this intended? Can he only be taken in a Black Host of Morhog army list and not in a "normal" Orcs & Golbins army? Or is this a mistake?

Or is this a mistake? -------Regarding new units - they were designed for the variant army lists they are presented in. However, some new units also have the note that "any Orcs & Goblins army may include" them, this means the unit can also be included in an army using the standard O&G army list. But, since this is all unofficial anyway, you should feel free to use any of the new units in any way you wish....there is no reason why Ruglud can't be taken in an army using the main O&G list.

By now, I have read a good deal of the new stuff in the book, and I just want to say: thank you, thank you, thank you.
At some point in the future, I'll definitely play the Yvresse in Flames campaign. It looks very promising.

Hi Kevin, I have a few more questions... Old and new edition - Is a Forest Goblin BSB allowed to take the Spider Banner? (Fluffwise, I'd say of course he can, but in the O&G rule book it says that the banner may "only be taken by a Goblin Battle Standard Bearer [no Night Goblin]"), and in this case "Goblin" means "common Goblin"... - Snotling Horde: The Bonegrinder Giant being a Lords choice doesn't make him a character in this list, right? It only means that you use the Lords choice points budget for him? - Snotling Horde: They have Goblins as a rare choice... am I right that these Goblins are not allowed to take Nasty Skulkers? It doesn't say so explicitely for Goblin units, but since the Skulkers are characters and the rules for Grobsnot say he is "the only character available for a Snotling Horde"... - Snotling Horde: How many Pump Wagons are you allowed to take? In the Orc & Goblin army book, you are allowed to take 4 (8 for a grand army). However, in that book they are a rare choice, 4 Pump Wagons means here "twice as many". In the Snotling Horde, Pump Wagons are special choice. So... are you allowed to take a) 4 (8 for a grand army) like in a standard O&G army, b) 6 (12 in a grand army), cause this means "twice as many" for special choice units, or c) 3 (6 in a grand army), because none of this applies? Only new edition: - There is a picture of the Troll Hag on page 29, and then again a picture of the Troll Hag on page 30 (the page, however, is about the War Sloggoth). Is this a mistake?

It only means that you use the Lords choice points budget for him? ------------Right, although weird, he's not a character.- Snotling Horde: They have Goblins as a rare choice... am I right that these Goblins are not allowed to take Nasty Skulkers? It doesn't say so explicitely for Goblin units, but since the Skulkers are characters and the rules for Grobsnot say he is "the only character available for a Snotling Horde"... -----------They can take skulkers, Goblin units can take all their normal options as per their unit entry.- Snotling Horde: How many Pump Wagons are you allowed to take? In the Orc & Goblin army book, you are allowed to take 4 (8 for a grand army). However, in that book they are a rare choice, 4 Pump Wagons means here "twice as many". Only new edition:- There is a picture of the Troll Hag on page 29, and then again a picture of the Troll Hag on page 30 (the page, however, is about the War Sloggoth). Is this a mistake? ----------------------It's not a mistake, I didn't have a photo of a painted Sloggoth at the time.----------I answered in red above.

Hi Kevin, another question. The Leader-Eater character for the Gnoblar army list is much cheaper now. He was 325 points in the old version, now he is 260 points.
Is this intended or is it a carryover from the previous page (since the Ma Da Grub character on the page before is 260 points too)?

It's merely a coincidence that Ma has the same points value.

AMENDMENT: Page 106. The Black Gobbo may ride a Giant Cave Squig for +40 points (see Warhammer: Orcs & Goblins for details), but will no longer have the Concealed special rule. Additionally, the Black Gobbo may still attack with paired weapons in close combat despite being mounted.

I'm aware that most people in this forum are now very hyped about TOW, but I still have a question about the good old 8th edition stuff...
Kevin, the rules for the Black Gobbo say:
"Concealed (see page 44 of Warhammer: Orcs & Goblins)"
However, the rules there are rules for Nasty Skulkers, which are an upgrade for the standard Goblin unit. That means that for Nasty Skulkers, it is very clear in which unit they are allowed to hide: the Goblin unit they belonged to from the start of the game; the Goblin unit that got these particular Nasty Skulkers as an upgrade.
However, the Black Gobbo isn't attached to a certain unit in the same way, which obviously means he can choose a unit. His rules don't contain any restricions, however... so can he hide inside ANY unit (Orcs, Trolls...)... or only Goblins?
Second question... you gave him "Hatred (Dwarfs)", which implies he is a Night Goblin (and he always was a Night Goblin, traditionally). But his Troop Type says: "Special Character, Goblin". Is this intended?
