Haven’t painted in a bit, waiting on on some reinforcements to arrive.... but I have been building my Iron Breakers!! Instagram : thekeepgames Interesting bases, where did you get those from? They are from Litko.net. I can order square bases any size and a corresponding adhesive magnet for the bottom. I make/use magnetized movement trays for my minis. Check them out!!

Ironbreakers and Longbeards, the two new Dwarf sculpts that make me want to start a Dwarf army. I look forward to seeing what you do with them!

So you buy pegged bases and fill the peghole with a magnet?

So you buy pegged bases and fill the peghole with a magnet? Nope, base is complete. I buy “stickers” that are magnetic. Picture below shows base and both sides of the magnetic sticker. Instagram: thekeepgames

Instagram: thekeepgames sorry to highjack your thread but this site looks great and I can see a large order being place for my Bret’s. Can I ask if you use the .02 or .03 magnet bases and have you tried them on standard GW plastic bases? (I wondered how well they would stick to these due to the hollowed bottom).

No worries! Totally understand. I use the .03 with the heavy duty magnetic sheets. I can share pictures of where I use the skinniest plastic (I only use acrylic as the magnetic sheets stick best to this material) and glue to the bottom of a GW base. It does raise the mini, but it’s not bad at all. The slot on the GW slotta bases stick far enough down, where you can get a gap filling super glue to connect the new acrylic to the slotta base. Let me know if you want pics.
