Watched them all this week. Great stuff. I don’t know if you guys read the comments, but there was some dude trying to suggest that the terrorgeist would have been unwound-able due to his toughness. So MM was like 6s bruh, and the dude wasn’t satisfied. I mean, I know people don’t always interpret things the same, but this one has a chart. I dont know about the terrorgeist but i remember an argument between steve and a poster about the k`daii destroyer and in this case the poster was right. If you play without the chaosdwarf faq (as they did) the destroyer can not be wounded by str 4 or less. Maybe it was the destroyer then. I wonder how that’s the case if I’m looking at the at the To Wound chart. It must be something specific to that dude then?? I mean, I don’t think it would be very fair to be honest since it seems like it’s breaking a fundamental rule. Thoughts?

Afaik there is no rule that a natural 6 always wounds. The destroyer has a rule that gives all non-magical attacks against him -1 to wound, meaning that attacks that would normally wound him on 6 can not wound him. I dont think that this was intended by forgeworld as it is really broken. They faq'ed the rule to rerolling succesful wounds against the destroyer, which is still pretty harsh.

Still though, look at the wound chart, it doesn’t matter if I had a 2 strength. The chart goes to a 6+ only. What am I missing here? It seems pretty clear to me that a roll of a 6 wounds.

-1 to the 6+ equals 7+. You can't get 7 on a D6.
There is no rule for "6s always wound". That's why it's powerful against weak attacks.
The FAQ to rerolling successful wounds is better imo, lol. Which was crazy when it came out. I remember thinking, 'why not just make 6s always wound??' lol.
Remember the "weakness" though, magical attacks.
The Great Taurus in Storm of Magic hasn't been FAQ'd as far as I'm aware, so remember to check with your opponent which rule you should use.
Looking at the rulebook, I noticed there's no '1s always fail' phrase in the BRB, & I remember there was a brief time when needing 2s To Wound and gaining +1 meant auto-wounds, haha. The FAQ put a stop to that though, thankfully.

IF it indeed needs 7's to wound, then you can simply take any rolls of 6, then reroll those and a 4+ is a "7". 5+ is an "8" and another 6 is equal to a 9. 10 is impossible. Sure, that's what is used for Shooting, but I don't see why it shouldn't work in this case too. Better in my opinion that just saying that he can't be wounded.
