They did the monster mash... Battle to the death or weird mating ritual?

The Dark Avatar. Note the square base KevinC 250 point pick. Fights with Dark Elves or occasionally other bad guys. Rulewise it is a Daemon Prince with a 4+ ward save. I don't consider the paint job or base 100% finished but the model is playable and took part in an epic 3 vs 3 battle i did for the 'Battle for the Phoenix Crown' which was 5250 points per side. As the Dark Avatar of Khaine this guy was on Team Tyrion and actually fell at Malekith's hand during the battle. I was inspired by the tiny Elf part in Josh Reynolds 'Return of Nagash' to do the battle rather than anything in End Times Khaine. Both Malekith and Tyrion weren't using the ET rules provided which i didn't like. Battle ended a draw for those interested and in 'MY' Warhammer universe Malekith proved himself by taking down Tyrion in said battle just before vanquishing the Dark Avatar. So i guess he really is the Phoenix King ho ho

That is very cool! By the cover of ET: Khaine I really expected a new plastic Avatar of Khaine to be used both in WFB and 40k.

They could have done a new Avatar and a new Malekith model. Imo Nagash and Glottkin were home runs but Khaine is where they dropped the ball big time. I have a primed Crone Hellerone to paint. Being the crazy person i am I'm considering mounting her on the Dark Avatar Got this off ebay cheap. It currently lacks detail and definition but is on my 'to do' list to touch it up to tabletop standard. Haven't played with it yet.

King Belegar of Karak Eight Peaks. Dwarfs are my main fantasy army. I have probably 6000 points including characters.

Hydra from Reaper miniatures. I play using the Storm of Magic rules for this guy. Bones isn't the best material to work with/paint. I painted this guy quite quickly and it shows. It's playable though. Mini was super cheap though so happy with it. My main thing is monsters... that is what i like to paint and over the years i have established a menagerie of beasts. My monsters are not slaves to any race but free roaming!

Burt the Carnosaur. This guy i spent longer painting. Came back to a while ago and highlighted the scales. Really happy with the paint scheme and base for this guy. Actually a second hand finecast model i got a hobby store. He was melted so i got for $20. His face almost touched the ground. If you take a look at my model i put in perched on a rock to disguise his forward lean and now with the rock props help he stands tall and ready to do D3 wounds once again!

So... I know you said this here homeboy rolls with Dark Elves (or mebbe Eldar), but... That paint job with the black and brass and the glow glow green makes him look like he could fit in my Tomb Kings army. I might try and find this miniature and do a convert to take out the squeezing heart and run him as a 2nd Heirotitan. I am a fan of this mini! Great work.

I can see it now. He looks big enough to have the monster thunderstomp!

If you could somehow put a set of scales instead of the heart it would look really cool

Speaking of the Heirotitan. This mummy was what i initially planned on using as mine. Ultimately however i decided this guy/thing was a bit too small and I now just use it as 'The Mummy' which is 100 points in Chillhammer. It is basically a super solo Ushabti. Ushabti stats, 5+ ward save. D6 strength 6 shots (magical bolts from the horse head) with a 24 inch range. I'm happy with the character of the model and my paintjob on it. It balances so i didn't bother with a base.

There's a size comparison for you Wilson! You can see one of my 6 Bowshabti there. I just wanted them playable so did a super quick paintjob on them. My bone giant i really like. The base when i did it i didn't have any materials for at the time so actually used some left over spices i had haha. It smelt like herbs for like 6 months but eventually the smell went away.
