I like the way you've managed to fit so many colours on the model without it looking a nightmarish My Little Pony.

Those eyes are great, I really like this one. Excellent mix of colours.....very Tzeentch. I almost feel like I should start painting the remaining Silver Tower minis so that in conjunction with the stuff you are sending I'll have a fully painted set.

Mierce Miniatures Aurog assembled. Lovely miniature this one, it will be mounted on a chariot base and played as a 175 point pick. Perfect for my Beastmen.... I shall dub it the "super cow"

This is the human rider which came with the Aurog, he doesn't fit in with my Beastmen so won't be mounted on Super Cow but is still imo a pretty impressive sculpt.

I love the mounted Beastlord, I proxy him as mounted on a chariot in WFB and kow.
How are you finding the smaller characters in Resin? I only have one and I live in fear of his weapon breaking off, it just seems too brittle. It’s why I tend to get the smaller Mierce stuff in their metal clearance sales.

Those are some good-lookin' Beastmen models! I've been planning on starting a Beastmen Mordheim force, and looking around at the various available models. Those might need some serious consideration! Mierce models just seem so expensive! What do you think about their cost?

So far, so good regarding the resin characters... but I haven't started painting them yet. These 2 Beastmen on foot seem sturdy enough for resin but we shall see how they hold up to painting. I likewise love the mounted guy, I have literally been browsing eBay for the past year or so looking for a nicely priced one. Ill probably use him on a chariot base as a slightly modified Razorgor Chariot, with the mount being the Razorgor substitute.

Mierce models just seem so expensive! What do you think about their cost? The models so far I've assembled have been brilliant and went together much easier than I was expecting. Price wise...I can't justify the rrp which is why ive been eBay stalking/lurking for well over a year for these particular miniatures. This mega Mierce Miniatures hit I paid $450 Aud (incl postage) for which is a massive amount to spend on Miniatures in one hit. I justified it to myself by checking each miniature I was getting (it was a custom order) against the official RRP on the Mierce Website. The RRP of everything buying direct from Mierce would have been over 500 pounds.....at that cost it's far too much for my budget despite the quality of the sculpts. So I think the rrp is too steep, but if they can be bought for a sizeable discount they are worth it. My issue is 100% value for money and not the sculpture quality which has impressed me time and time again. (Re:Knoffles) I assembled my 2 Hordes Skorne Cyclops the other day...... I found them much more troubling and annoying to assemble than these Mierce Miniatures Beastmen and while I do worry about breaking the Mierce weapons I actually did snap off a Cyclops weapon during the assembly process so model quality/durability I'd put Hordes (red plastic) below Mierce Miniatures.

Hordes Skorne Cyclops assembled. These were from the Skorne battle box/starter set. These were an absolute pain in the A to assemble and required frequent regluing. I also broke a bit with minimal pressure which was frustrating but I reglued it. From the low ish number of bits I really thought these guys would be a breeze to assemble but I was completely wrong. Eventually I'll use the Fimir rules with these guys but after the annoyance of their assembly I suspect they will not be painted for quite some time now.....if at all. I still quite like the sculpts even though they are very basic. I guess they remind me a bit of the good old monopose era.

If you buy off Mierce direct, they often sell off metal model stock for their humonoid figures at half price (so it depends on whether you like metal). They also have at least once a year a buy one get one free offer on their monsters, plus a number of other discount offers. It’s the only time I buy from them. (Sry grandmasterwang for the threadjack) Not at all, this thread is currently in a Mierce Miniatures phase so that is some relevant information. I've never owned any Mierce metal miniatures so it's good feedback for them that you like their metal miniatures and find them preferable for man sized minis than their reson versions. My Cygor/Cyclops hit the assembly line I've been saving this beastie. I find the Mierce Miniatures resin miniatures easier to work and easier to assemble than my limited exposure with Forgeworld. Caution: Mierce Miniatures feature defined anatomy. The website doesn't really show this...let these pictures serve as a warning. I had no idea prior to ordering this miniature that scrotum painting was required!

I only found that out recently too, when I bought a rat-daemon monster whose flayed human skin loincloth had a little more detail than I was expecting!
Mierce monsters are better than Forge World ones (and I've got lots) for ease of assembly/clean-up, though FW's more recent releases are much improved.
I'm looking forward to seeing you get that Cygor done, as I've considered it too as an alternative to the GW model.

So I got more work done on your Silver Tower models. I'm nearly complete with those guys! I have three Tzaangors practically complete (1 or 2 small details that I want to touch up) and the other 3 are close behind them with the same color scheme. I'm also close on your 2 Pink Horrors with just a few minor touch-ups as well. That will just leave the 10 Infernal Guard to paint up! I have them assembled and primed though. I did a little modification to the one whose weapon was broken and had an arm missing. I think it fits rather well with the unit though! I hope you like him!
