Howdy!
As someone acquainted with rather much of Deviantart's fantasy art, I have a quick tip to share, for whenever you wish to put out new rules, campaign sets, background, new army lists or whatever and want some eye-candy to lift it all to a new level:
As a community project without money involved, you have an edge. You'll be able to kindly ask various artists if they'd be interested in allowing you to use some of their artworks for community-made WFB 8th expansion, all non-profit. Those magic words will open many doors for you, trust me on that one. There are many skilled and kind artists out there who will agree to let you use some of their art for your projects so long as they're non-profit.
I've hunted Warhammer fan art for such use in T9A , but hit a brick wall since T9A wants larger outreach in brick and mortar stores, and as such must have terms whereby all their own non-profit efforts and art donations can still be used by companies to print and sell their work, potentially for a profit. This criterium of outreach means that T9A has shut itself off from a great resource that could help boost its art output through asking around on Deviantart. One could even say that T9A has combined the disadvantages of a community project (no funds for art budget) with the disadvantages of commercial enterprises (no asking for non-profit art donations) because of this indirect profit-related grey zone.
Art hunting on www.deviantart.com/ is work, but can yield great results if you know how to spamfish with polite finesse.
You do it like this:
Here is the copy-paste ready template I used, before finding out the finer points of the grey zone for sake of greater outreach. Modify it for 8th edition purposes, and you should be good to go:
Also, remember that fringe factions like Albion, Norsca, Araby, Nippon, Ind and Cathay may require art searches outside Warhammer boundaries. So search for "Vikings", "History Vikings" or "Fantasy Vikings" when Norsca search has exhausted itself, and likewise with Chinese, Arabic and so on. But don't forget to search for "Warhammer Albion" in the first place, because there are even fan arts for Fimir and Zoats on Deviantart!
Likewise, consider investing in a Tennis elbow brace:
Just some advice for a method you can use, that happens to be unavailable for T9A. I'll soon go hunting artists (not just donations of specific artworks) for their sake on DA, and this article was written in preparation. In case someone has already donated some artwork to e.g. T9A, then always remember to point out that these art donations are always on the artist's own terms, and that an artist can donate the same artwork to as many different projects simultaneously as she feels like. And never stomp on other projects' toes, this town is large enough for all of us.
Good luck huntin'!
Cheers

You do it like this:
- Set search mode to sort by Popular All time.
- Search for "Warhammer Fantasy XXX" - "Warhammer Fantasy Dwarfs" or "Warhammer Fantasy Chaos"
- Scroll down and open interesting artworks in new tabs on your browser. This is true labour, because there is a great amount of Warhammer-related artworks out there! Both subpar and excellent ones, as well as false search finds (incl. 40k).
- Check the description of each artwork. Purge all tabs with licensed artworks, such as commissions for Fantasy Flight Games or Creative Assembly. You want fan art, personal art. Purge also all non-licensed commissions for other private persons. No commissions!
- Have a document ready with a copy-paste template.
- Start by giving a personalized compliment on the artwork in question. If shading and highlighting is good, then point that out. If colour work is good, then mention it. If composition is good, write it out. If it is an excellent masterpiece, say so! Be kind and positive. If some innocent joke enters your head when viewing the art, then mention it as well, preferably with a smiley to make sure text format doesn't render it without a wink in the eye:
- Now copy-paste your template below the compliment.
- If you like the looks of an artist's work, then click "Follow" to receive future updates whenever he or she upload more art.
- Whenever Deviantart's system thinks you're spamming, go and do something else. Return after a while and resume your laborious art Odyssey. Rinse and repeat.

Also, just in case of Warhammer-esque interest: www.the-ninth-age.com/index.php?thread/42775-art-contest-ii/
And please pardon me asking, but would you by any chance be interested in allowing the Ninth Age (T9A) to make use of any of your fantasy artwork pieces? T9A is a non-profit volunteer project with many creative hands and minds involved. It's the spiritual successor of Warhammer Fantasy, with some slight name changes and some new features to the well-liked old setting.
Due credit always given! As is linking to the Deviantart pieces. And all art donations are always on the artists' terms, for as long as the artists want to allow T9A to use them.
Just a tip: T9A is a splendid way for what used to be Warhammer fanart to reach a wider audience in the shape of official Ninth Age artwork.
In any case, great artwork! Have a nice day.
